The witness was near Chito Nature Preserve in Lithia on a foggy, cold night when they heard three calls coming from the direction of the park. The calls grew louder in succession, described as whooping and a prolonged yell, with the last call very loud. The witness interpreted the sounds as Bigfoot vocalizations occurring at 10:30 p.m.

Two campers floating and fishing the Lower Buffalo River heard loud monkey-like vocalizations from the bank and later camped on a gravel bar. Through the night they reported repeated wood knocks, yells, chatter, whistles, a tree snap, and cantaloupe-sized rocks landing in the river from the ridge across from camp. They lit the camp, kept fire watch in shifts, and at dawn packed and paddled out after a final rock fell in front of them.

The witness and a companion camped in a tent near a pond and listened through most of the night to repeated whoops, howls, whistles, gibberish-like chatter and rumbling from multiple directions across the water and woods. Later something splashed and charged in the water near the tent, followed by loud snorts, breathing, and footsteps on a nearby dirt road, while movement was heard between the tent and fire. The witness searched outside with a light and firearm but saw nothing, and the sounds stopped after dawn.

The witness, spouse, and dog were camping and cooking at a campsite after dark. They heard hoot-like calls from below, then a loud growl-howl about 100 yards behind them lasting seconds, followed by answering howl-scream calls from two other directions. They judged the sounds unlike known local wildlife and indicating communication among several sources. The dog hid in the car and the couple packed up in the dark and drove home the same night.

Two nights before leaving, the cat stared through the covered kitchen window where the creatures often approached. A loud big-voiced excited ooh like a human female, felt as vibration, sounded close by. Fearing the cat would be grabbed, the witness called it back to the barricaded room.

During a dark hard rain the witness heard a loud hammer-like knocking from the sitting rock behind the trailer that accelerated into rapid rock-on-rock impacts continuing about 45 minutes. The witness concluded no human could sustain that speed and duration. A strange metallic gate-like sound and distant talking and whistles had also become a recurring precursor.

On a side trail the witness encountered a human-sized hairy figure eating leaves, then a taller female figure that gestured to the smaller one to stay calm and made a strange vocalization toward the trail behind. While leaving near the parking lot the witness saw an even taller male figure behind a rock staring, then left quickly and remained distressed afterward.

The witness went outside in the early morning to let dogs out before work. After hearing an owl, the witness heard a distant, deep, prolonged yelling-like sound lasting several seconds that was unlike familiar coyote or bobcat sounds. The sound caused a distant neighbor's dog to bark and left the witness chilled by its perceived power.
Possible Vocalizations Near Silver Lake
The witness was sleeping with a window open at home near Silver Lake when prolonged vocalizations were heard from the southeast side of the lake late at night. The sounds were described as partly primate-like and partly human-like and seemed like communication between individuals. The witness's dog reacted fearfully, and no visual contact was reported.

About a month after the first incident, the witness returned to the family property in the evening to check an area that had been logged. Loud whistles, a laugh-like vocalization, gibberish responses, and a distant silhouette were encountered. The witness stepped onto a porch in a remote Appalachian area to listen to coyotes. The witness claims familiarity with regional animal sounds, could not identify the sound, and described it as strange and out of place.

Late at night the witness was walking in a rural neighborhood when a deep grunting yell was heard coming from a nearby cornfield. The witness also recalls hearing heavy walking or footfalls just before the yell. The sound was described as echoing and startling, and no visual of the source was reported.

Two soldiers left for dead in a training exercise waited in a Humvee in the dark jungle when one turned on a headlamp and saw a pale woman with long black hair peeking through the rear flap. They heard shuffling and running footsteps with no one visible and later heard a woman whispering over a radio with no frequency loaded, leaving them frightened all night.

The witness was deer hunting alone from an elevated stand off a power line in a state wildlife management area on a December afternoon. After hearing heavy breathing and movement, the witness observed a large black hairy human-like figure first on all fours then sitting and standing. The figure vocalized in gibberish-like speech, screamed, grunted, approached to about 30 yards and remained for an extended period before tearing vegetation and moving off. While the witness fled toward a truck, movement paralleled the witness in the woods while vocalizations continued behind, suggesting a second individual, and the witness fired a shot in the air before driving away.
