Daylight sighting of a Bigfoot near N. Branch Lamoille River in Eden
On a sunny morning the witness stepped onto the deck to check on a barking dog and watched a black two-legged human-like figure walk past the end of the driveway for about 12 seconds until it disappeared behind trees. The figure was described as hunching then straightening, with long swinging arms and its head turned away. Later that day the witness found bent weeds and faint barefoot-like depressions where the figure had reportedly come from the woods.

On two November 2015 mornings the witness sat in a remote hunting spot before sunrise and heard close-range tree breaks and knocks followed by a scream/whoop vocalization shortly after turning off a light. Conditions were clear, cold and very quiet on both occasions. The witness, an experienced outdoors person, said nothing like it had happened before or since.

The witness and their spouse were driving east on Route 9 around 5:30 a.m. when their headlights illuminated a small bipedal figure crossing the road. The figure ran very fast into swampy reeds near a brook and disappeared. They did not stop, and said it did not match any familiar local animal.

On May 24, 2015 the witness was hiking for pleasure when she found two very large footprints near a tree by the trail. She photographed and measured the impressions, then found additional large prints and a possible knuckle impression on her way back to the parking area. She returned several days later to make plaster casts, but rain and leaf litter made the casts poor.

The next year the researcher captured four seconds of video showing a juvenile standing behind a pine tree, noticed only later on footage. At the time attention was on a single coyote that approached and seemed to distract from the figure.

In 2014 the researcher visited a ravine near a small town on 21 mornings and exchanged knocks with an unseen individual across trees. Pine cones were tossed from the woods and one struck the researcher on the head.

The witness was driving with two relatives in the evening looking for moose. A tall, heavily built, dark-haired bipedal figure crossed the road about 50 feet ahead of the car in two strides. The witness and one relative saw it while the other relative did not. The figure turned its head toward the car as it crossed.
Possible stalking at Hildene Mansion grounds, near Manchester
The witness was camping on the mansion grounds for a re-enactment event. Late Saturday night the witness sat around a campfire at the edge of the woods with two companions and heard footsteps moving inside the woods. They shined a flashlight toward the sound and it stopped, then resumed moving away after the light was turned off. No source was seen.
Possible prowling at TinkerBrook shelter in Calvin Coolidge State Forest
The witness and a relative camped overnight in a remote lean-to shelter in a forested ravine. After going to sleep, both were awakened by repeated knocking and pushing sensations against the shelter that continued intermittently until about 3 a.m. The witness checked outside with a flashlight but saw nothing, and a morning search found no damage or tracks, so they left without staying another night.
Family discovers fresh footprints in the snow while cutting down a Christmas tree
The witness family went into the woods in deep fresh snow to cut a Christmas tree. They found large footprints that crossed a pond and continued into a hemlock grove, with prints 12 to 14 inches long and a stride estimated at six feet. Something appeared to have stepped over a small leaf-covered tree without knocking leaves off, and the family dog barked intensely, leading the witness to feel they had just missed whatever made the tracks.

The witness left a house on a snowmobile on a dark snowy night and chose a snow-covered dirt road instead of the trail. The headlight revealed a large figure standing in a snowbank beside a farm field about 15 feet away. The figure stared at the witness for about ten seconds before the witness sped away for home.

On the night after family members reported strange sounds by a ditched car, the witness rode with family through the same area in a snowstorm around midnight. A very tall white-furred figure crossed the road ahead and paused on a hill by a wire fence, staring at the vehicle with reflective eyes. The occupants panicked and drove on without stopping.

The young witness sat against a large maple at dawn on opening morning while deer ran past. A huge hairy biped stood behind the tree with its hand on the trunk, growled with a low vibration, then chased after the deer at great speed. The witness soiled himself, vomited and left with his father, who also saw the creature and warned him never to tell.

The witness was visiting a relative's remote cabin in Vermont late at night when the group heard a loud, child-like screaming approaching from a wooded ridge. The source was described as moving quickly along the ridge and disturbing dogs as it passed. It approached to within about 100 feet of the porch where the witness stood with a relative, then turned and left down the valley. The only visual was a dark shape with eyeshine about four feet off the ground, and the source was never identified.

The witness and his father were woken by loud beating on the solid wood outer door of the trailer's mudroom. They looked out the window overlooking the door and saw no one there while the beating continued.

The witness woke to repeated chanting of ashes to ashes, dust to dust and saw six to eight shapeless black masses outside near the pond. He brought his father, who also heard the chanting and saw the masses. When the father knocked on the glass the sound stopped and the masses dissipated.

After returning home from church in winter, the father called the witness into the dark kitchen. All three family members saw a translucent face in the window that appeared to look inside. When the father wiped the glass the face dissipated.
