While driving home at night with her mother, the witness saw a tall hair-covered figure standing by a guardrail near a parkway overpass. The figure turned to look at the car, then stepped over the guardrail and disappeared into dense woods. The witness returned the next morning and found the spot choked with briars and thorn bushes.

The witness went bow hunting alone in the early morning, climbing into a tree stand in a state park by a cornfield. The forest went silent and he heard loud bipedal footsteps approaching down the trail, then quiet movement stopping in front of his stand. He drew his bow and tapped an arrow against it, after which the creature fled very fast across the field as a tall dark shadow. He left at sunrise and says he never returned to that park.
