The witness and a companion were in an open school field at dusk when the witness noticed a large shadowy figure across the field. The figure then ran silently and very fast directly toward them, appearing as a huge reddish-brown shaggy man/ape-like creature. The witness shouted to run and both fled through a neighboring yard to the witness's home. A return search the next day found nothing.

Companions returned to the school field the next day to look for the creature but found nothing.
An investigator contacted the witness by phone, documented restated details, noted the habitat and other area reports, and gave a credibility assessment.
