A relative reported finding a large footprint in mud in woods near a creek. The print was described as 18 inches long and 8 inches wide with plainly visible toes. An investigator visited the area days later but recent rain had erased the imprint.

The figure briefly turned at the waist and head toward her, apparently having heard the trailer door. She watched it for only a few seconds in poor light provided by a neighboring light.

Two residents found a single large footprint in mud under an apple tree in their suburban backyard that backs onto woods. The print was measured at about 18 inches long and seven inches wide, with missing fruit noted on the tree above it. No creature was seen. Police and later an investigator each visited the residence to view the footprint and speak with the witnesses.

The witness and three companions were house-sitting north of Russellville. While going outside for breaks between midnight and about 3 a.m., they repeatedly heard a distant moaning-howl in groups that agitated local dogs and horses. Unable to identify the sound at the time, they later compared it to an Ohio moaning-howl recording and judged it to match.

The witness and a companion were sitting by a campfire facing a hill when they heard yells followed minutes later by gunshots. Shortly afterward, a large animal rushed down the hill toward them, breathing loudly and moving quickly through trees. The witness shone a flashlight toward the sound, after which it stopped and then moved back uphill in another direction.

The witness and a companion were leaving a fishing spot behind a fish hatchery at dusk when the witness heard a crash and saw a tall dark standing figure on the trail they had just used. The companion ran ahead while the witness briefly watched the figure before running to a truck in fear. The figure was described as very tall with broad shoulders and seen only as a silhouette for a few seconds.

The guest was working a remote wildfire line in southern Oregon during the 2011 season. While stepping away from the crew to relieve himself in deep redwood duff, he found a line of large bare human-like footprints alongside smaller ones. He compared his size 11.5 boot to one clear print and concluded no one could have faked them in that location.

With church friends at Table Rock in June 2011, after doing calls at dusk and seeing a low military helicopter, the witness and his father heard a very loud sharp-pitched scream from over the mountain at 2:15am that rose and dropped. It repeated five times and they thought it sounded female or teenage. A voice recorder on sensitivity did not capture it and a trail cam only got a bird.

Wood knocks through window while witness in bed

The witness was lying in bed at home with the window open in the evening and heard two knocks described as sounding like a rock or large branch hitting a tree. About 30 to 45 seconds later two more similar knocks were heard. The witness felt nervous, listened afterward but heard nothing further, and judged the sound unlike noises from a nearby mill.

The witness and a companion were preparing to collect firewood on a mountain road when their dog ran into the brush, yelped, and fled back to the truck to hide. Both men then watched a tall, dark-brown, upright creature move quickly through dense brush about thirty feet away. The witness noted the dog's fearful reaction was highly unusual for a dog accustomed to bears and cougars.

The witness reported hearing crashing in a wooded ravine below the house on June 4, 2011 and then seeing a chest-high figure that stared for about a minute before descending out of view. No tracks were recovered because the witness avoided the ravine where the creature was thought to stay.

The witness was working alone at a gas compressor site around 2 a.m. when the headlamp caught reflective eyes in the woods beyond a fence. The source of the eyes stepped from behind a tree to the fence, then turned and walked bipedally into a creek bottom, prompting the witness to retreat to the truck and call the employer. Weak lighting prevented detailed observation, but the witness recalled a tall dark muscular form.

The witness was alone fishing and camping by a lake and creek. After noticing a foul litter-like odor, the witness heard a loud knock, whistles, and rustling, then had large rocks repeatedly thrown toward camp. After hearing an extremely loud angry whoop, the witness fled by car while loud noises moved through brush alongside the road.

The witness and a companion were clearing branches in a logged area behind the house when they found rock piles and ten small grass bundles containing field mice. The dogs became agitated and a thrown rock struck the witness's hand. No animal was seen, but wood-on-wood knocking was heard several times over the next few hours.

The witness saw a tan-colored with red tint, long-haired biped peek from behind a pine tree and then walk away to the west on two legs. The viewing lasted about 10 to 15 seconds and the witness was very upset afterward.

The witness reports arriving at a meadow with at least one other person at 8:00 a.m. The witness believes the group pushed an unseen individual out of the meadow. That individual then reportedly yelled from about a half-mile away. The witness describes the yell as unlike anything heard during decades in those woods and reports a strong physical reaction.

The witness and their spouse were lying in bed with the window open talking when birds and owls went silent. They heard footsteps that grew heavier and larger than human as they approached the house. After a gasp the steps paused and withdrew toward the trees, leaving the impression of an unafraid watcher.

The witness went to a remote riverside spot at night with only a dog to start a campfire. The dog began barking intensely toward the river, and the witness then heard multiple large rocks splash into the water. After checking with a flashlight and seeing no source and noting no signs of other people, the witness put the dog in the vehicle and left.

The witness was camping and skipping rocks by a river with a child and dog near sunset. The dog stared across the river and bristled, prompting the witness to look across. The witness saw a large bulky figure at the far bank that rose from a crouch, turned, and walked into brush out of view. The figure was estimated to be about 165 yards away and much larger and wider than a person.
