Four elk bowhunters hear a long guttural scream
The witness was bowhunting with three companions in two separated groups during an evening hunt. All four heard a long, deep, guttural scream coming from dense brush in a hollow below. The younger relative closest to the sound was shaken, and the more experienced hunters said they had never heard such a sound and did not believe it was a cougar or bear. No visual contact or other sign was reported.

Three companions camping on Mt. Graham heard a loud unidentified scream two or three times around 10 pm. Later that night around 2-3 am they heard heavy bipedal footsteps in pine needles moving behind their tent, but saw nothing when they looked out. While mountain biking, the witness heard a large animal moving in brush off the trail but could not see it. About 200 yards farther up the trail, the group found very large detailed footprints overlying companions' tracks, which left the trail for a meadow and reappeared crossing the road about half a mile farther on. Coincidentally encountered bear hunters also examined the prints and were unfamiliar with them.

The witness was driving on a road north of the Salmon River around midnight after dropping off companions. Headlights illuminated a brown upright animal about seven feet tall standing on the road. After about ten seconds the animal jumped agilely off the road down toward the narrow river bottom.

The witness and a companion canoed to a remote shore of a lake for lunch when they heard growling and smelled a foul odor. They pushed through brush and saw a huge dark-furred biped about 20 feet away apparently feeding on a small animal. The creature stood to about 7-8 feet, looked at them, then grabbed its meal and ran off while the pair retreated to their canoes.

A couple camping on a remote Oregon beach at dusk watched a very large, dark, hair-covered biped walk back and forth on the sand several times, at times passing close by. The witness later found very large, deep footprints where it had walked and, when it approached again at night, shouted and then fled to camp. Both stayed through the night without further sightings and photographed the tracks at daybreak.

While camping on a beach with a companion, the witness repeatedly watched a very large dark figure walking north and south along the sand, at times passing within tens of feet. The figure moved quickly with a smooth gliding motion while appearing bent over and ignoring the witnesses. After examining unusually deep tracks in the sand, the witness stood his ground as the figure approached within yards, saw a face and dark hair and wide shoulders, then fled to camp. The pair left equipment behind, retrieved car keys, waited overnight, and photographed tracks the next morning.
Small. Child-like Bigfoot seen crossing road
The witness was traveling by car with a companion at night when a small hairy creature crossed the road ahead of them. The creature paused in the middle of the road to look toward the vehicle, then leapt into an adjacent swamp and disappeared. It was described as about five feet tall with dark brown hair and an unusual gait that was difficult to imitate.
Close, daylight sighting of a Bigfoot west of Cullasaja Falls
The witness rounded a boulder in forest highlands and came face-to-face with an unidentified standing figure about 10 feet away. The two stared briefly before the figure ran off into the woods. The witness then examined where it had stood, comparing a track to his own large foot and estimating the figure at over eight feet tall.

The witness and a relative were collecting sugar pine cones along FSR# 9777. While looking through the windshield, the witness observed a Sasquatch cross the road quickly in front of the vehicle and disappear into brush. The relative was looking out the passenger-side window at the time. The witness inferred it had been watching them before being noticed.

On a winter morning with fresh snow, the witness left home early to catch a bus and found large fresh footprints heading the same direction. The prints were wider, longer and deeper than his own boot prints and continued for about a block before turning between houses and re-entering the woods behind his home. He felt uneasy about following them into the woods and hurried to the bus stop; a relative later saw the same line of prints near the house.

The witness was working late in a shop behind the house when the two dogs came inside acting frightened. The witness then heard multiple loud scream-like yells from outside, felt intense fear and a sense of being watched, and spoke saying no harm was intended. The vocalizations then stopped and the witness took the dogs into the house feeling observed the whole time.

The witness and one companion stood outside a rural house late at night and listened to distant, loud, high-pitched screams or mournful moans for about half an hour. The sounds faded in and out, at times requiring straining to hear, before growing fainter and stopping. Neither person recognized the sound as any known animal or human, and later comparisons by the witness pointed only to purported Sasquatch recordings.

The witness walked alone at night to a pond in a wildlife management area to fish. After fishing for about an hour in bright moonlight, the witness heard a loud, deep guttural sound repeated four times from the woodline where they had entered. The witness saw nothing, heard no approach or departure, continued fishing nervously for another hour, then left without further incident.

The witness and companions heard repeated scream-like sounds near a creek, followed by loud running and crashing in the woods. After they yelled into the woods, large rocks and boulders fell around them. They packed their gear and left frightened while the screams continued.

While working alone to clear trail, the witness heard something moving parallel to him downslope for a couple of hours. The footfalls sounded clearly bipedal and the unseen mover easily kept pace through steep, brushy terrain. The witness never saw the source, noticing only moving saplings, and the sounds stopped about half an hour from his truck.

A television crew driving a large RV on a narrow forest road at dusk in rain spotted a figure ahead and filmed it as it walked bipedally across the road in front of them, illuminated by headlights, before disappearing behind a tree. Two witnesses ran outside to try for more footage but conditions were too dark and dense. The investigator later described the videotaped subject as a large, shaggy male figure and reported enhancements showed no sign of costume or effects.

A young child who had gone about fifty yards from the house to pick thimbleberries claimed a large white-furred creature rose up from behind the bushes within a few feet. The child observed broad shoulders, long arms at its sides, and a human-like head shape for a few seconds before running back to the house in terror. No one else saw the creature, and later searches found no tracks or hair.

Around 1 a.m. while sitting by a campfire, the witness heard a loud stick snap and shone a penlight toward the sound. The light revealed one then two glowing eyes behind a tree about 30 feet away, which then moved downhill while shifting from about eight feet high to the ground without making sound. The witness retreated to a companion's tent for the night and the next day estimated the source at at least 7-8 feet tall but found no tracks.
