The witness walked alone at night to a pond in a wildlife management area to fish. After fishing for about an hour in bright moonlight, the witness heard a loud, deep guttural sound repeated four times from the woodline where they had entered. The witness saw nothing, heard no approach or departure, continued fishing nervously for another hour, then left without further incident.
