On the return, two team members scanned behind them with thermal and captured a large heat signature behind a tree plus a smaller signature nearby. A couple hiking to a cabin at Government Meadows surprised three large hairy bipeds behind the cabin. The witness climbed a steep hillside alone to look down into a replanted valley after rock hunting with relatives who had left. He watched a dark figure walk through small trees and brush its hand across a treetop, then lost it while retrieving a phone from his truck. He filmed the spot for an hour but captured only an unclear blob, and next day found a stump where the figure had stood.

The witness reported finding weeks-old tracks in deep snow on a logging road area described as undisturbed by humans for months. The trackway reportedly continued for about 800 yards with large footprints and a long step in about five feet of packed snow. Two hikers arrived at a trailhead in the early morning to climb and heard knocks from uphill and downhill, followed by stick-breaking sounds like footsteps. They knocked back and received responses, filmed the exchange, then heard further knocks and repetitive rock-on-tree tapping as they started up the trail. They saw nothing in the dense woods and eventually left.

The witness and a companion stopped off a forest road so the witness could target shoot while the companion waited at the truck. After the witness returned to the road, both heard repeated very loud cracking snaps from a wooded hilltop about 100 yards away, spaced about 30 seconds apart, along with movement and bark-ripping sounds. The witness walked partway up the hill filming with a cell phone and captured at least one loud crack before returning to the truck and leaving.

On a November afternoon hunt, the witness heard loud yelling mixed with growls and screams nearby and recorded trees breaking and heavy pounding footsteps approaching. Deer in the area fled as the sounds got closer, and the witness left quickly. Cattle in a nearby pasture were later seen huddled far from the sounds.

A family camped at Salmon Meadows near Conconully heard repeated strange howl-like yells from the creek bed below their site in the late afternoon. After going to investigate and finding a young cow near a cattle guard, they heard howls again overnight and in the early morning. They recorded five video clips as the sounds moved away but never saw the source.
Hunter near Raymond hears what sounds like a sasquatch chasing and killing a deer
The witness was deer hunting from a stand overlooking a clear-cut valley in the morning. The witness heard loud crashing and branch-breaking as a large unseen animal ran down the opposite slope, chased a deer, and killed it after the deer cried out three times. The witness could not cross the creek to investigate and later left, having earlier photographed a 20-foot tree found jammed upside-down in the ground.

The witness spent the early morning driving back roads around Skookum Meadows to revisit prior sites and scout for future investigation. While traveling, the witness found a buttock-like skid mark with possible handprints and three large bare-foot-like impressions, plus additional large human-shaped tracks near a broken natural bee hive and behind roadside fir trees. The witness photographed the findings and made a cast of one track.

Two witnesses driving back from fishing in a national forest rounded a corner and saw a tall black upright figure crossing the road in front of them. It walked quickly uphill and disappeared within a few seconds. They stopped at the spot and found a large footprint, which they later videotaped and cast, and investigators later found additional impressions uphill.

While driving along a ridge road for field work, the witness noticed large bipedal footprints crossing the road and stopped to examine them. The witness counted about 20 clear prints with a long stride and recorded them on video before leaving. The witness returned the following day and located additional, more weathered prints across the road.

The witness stopped on a bridge over a washed-out creek to videotape the creek bed while sightseeing. While filming he heard heavy wood-on-wood strikes from the left answered from the right at varying intervals, which he verified was not an echo. Feeling anxious, he returned to his idling vehicle and left, and a relative later reviewed the tape where the beats were faintly audible and recorded an interview with the witness that evening.

While camping and fishing at a remote lake, the witness was alerted by a companion to a possible animal on the hillside. The witness then saw a creature stand from behind a bush about 75 yards away, stare briefly, and dart into the woods. Minutes later it reappeared higher on the steep hillside, ran across openings, jumped a ravine, and walked behind a knoll, while the witness's wife videotaped about 22 seconds.

The witness took his children sledding along a forest service road, towing a sled behind his truck. After noticing droppings in the road, they found a trail of large bare human-like footprints with five toes leading up a bank. The witness compared his booted foot and stride to the prints, noting a much longer step and deeper impressions, then left because it was getting late and later reported the find to the sheriff's office.
Tracks near Sunnyslope, Washington
After a newspaper story ran, a retired couple reported odd tracks in their backyard less than half a mile from where the first trackway was lost. The trail showed a 13-foot step, then several 6-foot steps, then 10-foot steps near a motion light, then sidestepping and side-by-side prints with a drag mark off a wall. The investigator measured and filmed them and could not find continuation in neighboring yards.
