A couple hiking to a cabin at Government Meadows surprised three large hairy bipeds behind the cabin. The subjects moved quickly from right to left, with a smaller adult carrying a juvenile on its back, then disappeared behind terrain. The witnesses approached the area, found a large print, and recorded video of their reaction afterward.

An investigator visited the site in July via trails but found no evidence, attributed to winter snow and spring melt.
