Two motorists sighting of a sasquatch 4 miles south of Silverton BC on Hwy 6 near Slocan Lake
While driving home at night, two vehicle occupants reported seeing a very large man-like figure standing on two legs near the highway that then dropped to all fours. The other occupants did not see the figure. Shortly afterward four people returned to the spot and reported finding a line of deep massive bipedal tracks in snow, which they photographed and filmed.
Possible wood knocks heard near Marble mountain Sno-Park
The witness was hiking alone and stopped for water when loud wood knocking lasting 10-15 seconds was heard. The witness made phone recordings that captured one loud knock plus fainter knocks believed to come from three locations. The witness continued hiking and returned later without further sightings or sounds, noting no other people were nearby due to winter closures.
Sighting by dog walker and more recent incident on Stone Church Trail (Wayne NF) NW of Shawnee
A couple of days after hearing unexplained howls on an evening hike, the witness stopped on the same trail to let her dog drink. She heard rustling on the ridge above and saw a very large dark-furred bipedal figure walking among trees about 50 yards away. It disappeared over the ridge crest before her husband could look, after being visible for several seconds.

A couple sitting in their off-grid cabin at night heard loud bangs on the cabin twice. The husband looked from a dark bedroom toward the lit generator shed and both saw a large reddish-brown hairy biped watching for about two minutes before it walked into the woods. The shaken couple fled with their dogs and guns, returning the next morning to estimate its height and find trampled vegetation.

After reaching a dead end at a creek and turning around, the witness saw a large dark figure cross the road behind the vehicle in the rearview mirror. The witness and a companion were asleep at home when they were awakened around midnight by a thump on a storage box beneath the bedroom window and sensations described as footsteps. The next afternoon they found two lines of large human-like barefoot prints in fresh snow leading toward and past the window, merging into one line before crossing the road toward a treeline. The larger prints were measured at 13 to 14 inches long with strides over five feet, while smaller prints were interpreted as a juvenile. The figure disappeared behind a blind spot before the vehicle reached the crossing point, and the companion did not see it. After stopping at the location, the witness found no tracks, trail, or odor.
