The guest describes a night walk with a large research team that crossed a creek and headed into thick brush before turning back. On the return, two team members scanned behind them with thermal and captured a large heat signature behind a tree plus a smaller signature nearby. The group interpreted it as a large female with a juvenile and discovered large footprints there the next day.
Sasquatch sighting in Washington (2025)
Review of phone photos taken earlier the same day near a lake revealed what the witness believes are ape-like figures beside a large old-growth tree. She noticed shiny fur, a wrist and hand gripping bark, and gray on the face, with possibly two additional dark figures nearby. She shared the images with coworkers and the host as possible accidental photos.
Growl near Beaver, Washington (2024)
The witness was sleeping lightly in a tent on family property during a reunion camping trip after several nights of growls, whoops, and sounds of movement in the woods. About 1:46am something pressed the back of the tent against her back, grabbed her left arm through the fabric, and shook the tall air mattress violently while a bright white light shone on the tent. The shaking and light stopped, and she found the tent had been pushed 5 to 7 feet forward. She stayed awake, left the next morning, and later found fingerprint-like marks on her arm that were photographed.
Stalking by a large creature around family tents at midnight at Skookumchuck Reservoir
The witness was lying awake in a tent at a restricted lakeside camp around midnight when she heard slow, rhythmic footsteps circling the campsite for about 45 minutes. The walker paused near food areas, approached another tent when a child cried, and left after a car alarm sounded, stepping over a fence into the woods. She never opened the tent to look and concluded from the stride and sounds that it was not human.
Two pedestrians encounter a sasquatch 3 miles south of Littlerock near Black River
Two people walking on opposite sides of a road heard rustling in brush on an adjacent old railroad bed. The closer witness looked and saw a very dark, massive, hair-covered form about 20-30 feet away. The creature turned from side view to face them, stepped toward them, then squatted down and stared, showing amber eyes and a hair-covered face.
Possible sighting and track in the GMU 328 Naneum Unit near Ellensburg
The witness was deer hunting in open country bordering woods when they noticed an upright figure at the tree line about 300 yards away. When they raised binoculars the figure was gone and could not be relocated. After walking to a new area they found a single barefoot-like print in dirt, photographed it, and found no additional tracks.
Retired wildlife biologist reports gravel thrown at truck, a vocalization and wood knocks on Radar Dome, near Colville
The witness and a companion sat around a campfire at night in a parking lot study area. From about 200 feet away they heard growl-whoop-scream vocalizations and wood-on-wood thumps, followed later by pea gravel striking the truck. Trail cameras reportedly captured gravel in motion and a large black partial figure showing shoulder, arm and open hand.
Vocals and track on Spencer Butte
The witness and companions were elk hunting and hiking up Spencer Butte on a rainy morning when two of them heard a distant yowl. At the top the witness found an alder shaking without wind and heard something moving away. Shortly after the witness found a large left-foot print with distinct toes in mud and gravel and photographed it.
Rock thrown at vehicle plus Class B sighting 5 miles north of Quilcene
The witness was driving with a passenger toward a campsite in the evening when a small rock flew from the treeline and struck the hood near the windshield. The driver saw only the rock in flight, while the passenger reported seeing a large dark crouched figure at the treeline just before impact. Both occupants interpreted the rock as deliberately thrown and later photographed a small paint chip at the impact point.
Campers describe loud branch snap, howls, and possible track, northeast of Cougar
The witness and a relative camped overnight beside a creek after scouting the area for hunting. Around 10 p.m. a loud nearby branch break woke them, but a flashlight search revealed nothing. An hour later distant howls woke them again, with further responses heard after the witness howled back, and footsteps were later heard near the tent. Next morning a single large deep footprint was found near the tent and photographed.
Tracks near Packwood And Randle, Washington (2020)
The witness and family stopped while driving to hike and explore around Brownie Creek. While hiking along the sandy banks, the witness nearly stepped into a very large footprint estimated at 17 inches or more. Family members also saw the print, photos were taken, and the group then continued up the mountain.
Tracks Reported 5/24/2020 Lewis County Washington
The witness was hiking with family to a series of caves in the early afternoon. The witness and a relative each noticed a footprint in moss along the way, about 200 yards from the caves and about 20 feet apart. The witness photographed the prints with a water bottle and foot for scale. No other unusual activity, sounds, or sightings were reported.

The witness reported finding weeks-old tracks in deep snow on a logging road area described as undisturbed by humans for months. The trackway reportedly continued for about 800 yards with large footprints and a long step in about five feet of packed snow. The witness took photos and video of the tracks on visits on April 24th and 25th.

Four men camped at a remote primitive site in rain and walked a forest road at night. Later back home they found a van vent window broken with glass on roof and gear, plus a large handprint with visible dermal ridges on rear glass that dwarfed a man's hand. Nothing was taken from the locked van, and they believed something approached while they were away.
Elk hunter reports trees being pushed over and vocalizations in the Colonel Bob Wilderness
On opening day of elk season the witness camped alone on a remote spur road after hunting all day. After dark he struck a tree with a limb, then heard a large tree pushed over upslope, primate-like yells and chatter from both upslope and the ravine below, and heavy footsteps. Unnerved by the sense of being surrounded, he packed up and drove out without seeing anything.
Mushroom picker has ongoing activity in same area over many years near Grandy Lake
The witness was searching for mushrooms on a wooded hillside in the early afternoon. They looked down and noticed an old impression in a mossy patch about 15 inches long, broad at the toes with a wide heel and a rise in the middle. Small debris was sitting in it, suggesting it had been there some time. The impression was still present in the same condition when the witness returned that fall.

The witness was lying awake in her motorhome at a secluded river property shortly after midnight when she heard loud banging sounds alternating between two directions. She interpreted the sounds as coming from two individuals exchanging signals. After falling asleep and waking in the morning, she found a single large bare footprint near the gravel walkway and photographed it before it was accidentally erased.

A couple sleeping in their parked SUV at a logging-road campsite were awakened around 2:30 a.m. when the wife felt a firm touch on her leg through a partially open rear window and then heard light footfalls moving away. Neither witness saw anything when listening and peeking out. In the morning they found very large muddy fingerprints on the vehicle near the window.
Hunters experience possible vocalizations, wood knocks, felled trees, over eight days in Squaw Valley
Two hunters spent eight days camping in a tent while hunting. Most nights they heard moaning/howling and reciprocal wood knocks that seemed to move closer, and one night heard growls outside the tent but saw nothing when they rushed out with guns and flashlights. Twice they returned from hunting to find trees blocking or inside camp, including a large healthy green pine pushed over. After losing sleep they left for a family cabin and returned next morning to find the tent zipper partly open with the lantern still on.
Tracks near Sunnyslope, Washington (2017)
Construction workers found a long line of large tracks in snow after an overnight storm. The investigator followed the trackway about a mile and a half through orchards, fields and a ravine. The steps were 4 to 6 feet apart in a straight line with no animal marks inside, and one clear dirt impression was cast before the trail was lost in a worked orchard.
