The witness was cleaning and preparing an auction site in the mountains when large barefoot tracks were found that dwarfed the witness's own foot. A few days later around midday a massive dark bipedal figure was seen leaning from behind a tree, was photographed, then left with heavy steps and a foul smell as the phone camera failed. That evening and the next night loud echoing vocalizations and loud bird-like whistles were heard while deer disappeared and the woods went silent.
Vacationing family observes & photographs a large hair covered figure in Grayson Highlands State Park
A group of ten vacationers at a scenic overlook noticed a large dark figure about 200 yards below them. The figure was initially crouched and appeared to dig or pull at something, then stood, walked to a tree, observed the group, and eventually moved deeper into the forest out of view over about five minutes. Photos were taken by the group, while two unrelated visitors who also photographed it left quickly appearing scared.

After picking up a relative at the airport, the witness became lost while driving at night with her two children on unmarked rural roads. While traveling slowly near a church, she and the children noticed a large brown furry figure crouched by the roadside ditch with its back to the road. They did not stop and continued home. The witness first assumed it was a bear but later questioned that after learning brown bears are not found in the state.
Growl near Lee County
The guest and one fellow investigator camped in a research area in Lee County chosen after a Dogman report. They heard a growl, a distant tree fall, and something running around camp that was too fast to pinpoint on thermal, then found X-shaped tree structures without roots. On later visits team members saw a large dark humanoid with a conical head peek from behind a tree, found broken branches, and heard loud peacock-like bird sounds with nothing visible.

While trying to photograph baby flying squirrels from her elevated balcony, the guest moved a flashlight to the ground and discovered two figures watching her from about a dozen feet away. One turned away showing a wide-shouldered, hairy back with large arms and a small conical head on all fours, while the other showed only hair to the side. She inadvertently took photos as both fled, and next morning found torn ground where they had run.

While retrieving her puppy in daylight, the guest carried him back through the lower side yard and found many footprints in mud of four distinct sizes, some two inches deep, showing toe ridges. She powdered and photographed them, measured examples about seventeen by nine inches and thirteen by eight inches with a sixty-three-inch stride in one running sequence, and made three plaster casts despite inexperience.
