The witness and two daughters were driving a pickup on a forest two-track in the evening to gather rocks for a fire pit. A tall black-haired biped ran across the trail in front of the vehicle in a forward-leaning run with arms hanging low, followed about 15 feet behind by a large gray wolf. Both continued up the hill on the far side and disappeared, and a next-day search found no tracks because of overnight heavy rain.

The witness and a companion walked night trails and noticed a stationary bright light over a ridge. They then heard bipedal footsteps from an embankment, felt watched, and smelled a skunk-like odor. The witness was steelhead fishing alone upriver in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the morning. The witness found two sets of barefoot tracks of different sizes crossing a four-foot-deep stretch of river. The tracks were described as flat, broad, without arches, and sinking deeper than the witness's own tracks. The witness believed they were recently made and not human, and took photos and video.

The witness was driving on a rural road in the afternoon when a large bipedal creature crossed the road ahead from west to east. The creature moved very quickly into dense woods and had disappeared by the time the witness reached the crossing point. The witness later noted flattened grass where it entered the woods and said it looked like no known human or animal.

After other family members left the cabin for the evening, a father and his adult son stayed to clean the cabin exterior when stones began landing around them. They retreated inside as stones continued to strike the cabin on multiple sides. The father then saw a large dark figure run bipedally across the driveway, and impacts on the cabin walls continued late into the night.

The father-in-law found large tracks in snow while going to burn trash and called the reporter. The reporter came over, photographed and measured 17.5-inch prints with strides up to 4.5 feet, and followed them to a steep creek ravine that the maker ascended without slipping. No creature was seen, and a sample of discolored snow was collected.

Two witnesses were on the back deck of a vacation cabin at night with a small leashed dog when they heard a loud grunting/growling sound from bushes about 60 feet away. The dog was alert and barking at the bushes. Frightened, both people went back inside the house.
Strange findings along a trail near a home outside Lake City
The witness reported ongoing activity near a forested home beginning in early spring 2013. During an initial walk in pines, he heard an extremely loud knock that frightened him and later heard whistles from the woods. He also reported finding multiple large and small track sets. They compared notes after arriving home and realized both had seen the same thing, but could provide no details beyond its large size and shadowy appearance. The sighting occurred two days after a bizarre shrieking noise had been heard in the yard.

He saw a very tall, reddish figure moving downhill about 200 yards away for about five seconds, initially mistaking it for a skier but noticing no skis or tracks. They stopped and watched a very tall, light-colored illuminated figure moving in a small circle near a mailbox, heard a short powerful grunt, and then saw reddish eyes watching from the woods. The eyes retreated deeper, dropped low and disappeared while the group returned to the cottage.

The witness was driving home at night on a dirt backroad when something struck the truck, leaving scratches and a dent on the passenger door. After calling for help, the witness with two relatives found footprints along the road and photographed them. While photographing they saw green eye-shine above the brush and a large upright shadowy outline, then heard wood knocks, growling and heavy footsteps before the eyes disappeared.

On Monday evening 5/14 around 9pm at a relative's riverbank house, the relative noticed a roughly 9- to 10-foot limb protruding from the ground that had not appeared in panoramic photos taken earlier that day. The husband arrived shortly after, felt uneasy and heard rustling in the woods across the river before turning back, and the witness later joined him to inspect the stick and search for footprints without success. The relative suggested the limb may have fallen from a tree, while the witness doubted a natural placement.

The witness was hunting grouse along a cedar swamp when a strong foul smell led to noticing a hairy animal lying about 30 yards away. The witness and a companion were walking up a remote dirt road at night looking for snowboarding hills when they heard a strange sound and found large bare-foot-like prints with visible toes in the snow. After discussing the prints, which were wider and longer than a 12-inch flashlight with a very long stride, a nearby tree began shaking violently and dropping snow and branches, prompting them to run back to the car and leave.

In moonlight they saw a large shape kneeling on the lawn that stood and ran across the lawn, through a puddle, and up a driveway.
