Daylight sighting by hunter 30 miles southeast of Louisville
The witness was sitting in a deer stand above a creek in heavily wooded bottomland waiting for deer. After smelling a musky odor and hearing leaves rustling behind the stand, the witness turned and saw a large dark-brown hairy biped across the creek about 60 yards away walking parallel to the water. The creature briefly turned its head toward the witness, continued swiftly with its arms swinging, and stayed in view for 10 to 15 seconds before moving away through trees.

The witness and his girlfriend found large footprints while walking out to set paper targets at a forest shooting range. One print was estimated at thirteen and a half to fourteen inches. A photo was taken showing the girlfriend's shoe beside the print for scale.

The witness was spending the evening on a relative's front porch shortly before Christmas. After knocking three times on a deck rail, the witness heard three knocks returned from nearby woods and later saw branches moving despite no wind. About an hour later the witness heard footsteps and pacing beside the house for about 15 minutes and attempted to record the sound on a phone.

The witness reported finding an X-shaped arrangement of large branches near a deer stand in early October 2015 and leaving leaves, apples, and peanut butter there over several visits. The leaves and fruit repeatedly disappeared, and a jar of peanut butter later vanished and reappeared on the nearby stand with part of the contents missing. During a nighttime visit with two companions, a small curly clear-looking hair was found on the structure. No creature was reported seen during these incidents.
Seasonal visitor to a rural farm south of Lexington
The witness states he was on his driveway at night with his dog when a doe walked past in the yard light and moonlight. Immediately behind the doe, a large hair-covered biped walked across an open gap of about 30 feet between cedar trees without making noise. He watched it in side view the whole way and later judged it to be about eight feet tall based on a tree it passed.

The witness returned on a Sunday afternoon to a wooded creek confluence where large tracks had been found days earlier. While approaching, something large moved alongside through the woods breaking branches, and the witness found large footprints including a tiny print in one heel. The witness then heard a large splash in the creek followed by paired guttural growls that stopped after the witness whooped, and later described seeing a large hairy figure peeking from behind a tree across the creek.

The witness was alone at home at night and stepped onto the porch after a relative reported screams nearby. After howling without response, the witness saw a tall hair-covered figure peek from behind a pine tree, make eye contact, then step out and leave in three large strides across the road. The witness later measured the standing height against the tree and photographed and measured a single footprint left in the yard.

The witness reports finding an unfamiliar skull and small bones under leaves beside a log while hunting on the back side of the farm. The witness, familiar with common animal skulls, reports others called it ape-like and is sending a jawbone for DNA analysis. The investigator's initial review of supplied photos suggested domestic dog skull.

Late at night the witness went outside to feed dogs and heard three loud solid knocks followed by a long loud scream-like cry. About half an hour later after going back outside the same sequence repeated. She later found very large footprints where the sounds seemed to originate and had tracking dogs follow the scent until they stopped and refused to continue.

During a nighttime paranormal investigation, two people walked to a tree clump in open fields after hearing about a sighting the night before. After making whoop and howl sounds and hearing possible distant replies, they watched a tall dark human-like silhouette peer from behind a tree 30-40 yards away and sway side to side for several minutes. When they tried to approach, the figure disappeared, and checking the tree revealed nothing to explain what they had seen.

The witness returned to the site of a large footprint found the previous day to take photographs. He banged sticks together for about ten minutes to try to provoke a response. Immediately after one knock he heard an extremely loud high-pitched scream or roar that frightened him. He ran down a steep brushy hill back to the house without looking back.

Two people walking up a marshy hollow came to a split in the stream and found a large mud impression beside a rock on the island. The impression was estimated at about 14 inches long and photographed with a boot for scale. The finder was uncertain whether toe-like shapes were real or imagined.

Three people camping overnight near a creek reported prolonged howling in the evening and a close loud scream during the night. Through the night they heard movement around the tents, sticks hitting trees, branches breaking, and had objects disturbed including a tent stake pulled out. They also reported white eyeshine, a pungent odor, a dark figure seen in the treeline after daylight, and footprints and torn branches found in the morning.

An investigator hiked with two companions to the top of a rocky ridge at night to look into recurring activity. While the companions scanned with night vision and a camcorder, the investigator illuminated a sasquatch-like figure standing close below the rocks with a headlamp and watched it withdraw and walk away. The companions recorded eyeshine in the opposite direction, suggesting a second animal, and the group heard footsteps following them as they descended. They later reviewed the tape and confirmed eyeshine had been recorded.

The witness reports being at the top of a hill in a pine forest after dark while a companion was below. A very hairy creature about 8 feet tall walked in a nearly human manner while making grunting noises, noticed the witness, then left. The witness reports photographing footprints left in mud.

As a teenager living on his mother's horse farm, the guest repeatedly heard loud dawn screams and movement near the trash burn pit. One snowy night the household arrived to find the porch light out and heard a whimpering cry and heavy bipedal steps moving around the house and into the woods, followed by a loud hiss that shook the horse barn where a large dog was chained. The next morning the family found large barefoot-like tracks in snow leading from the driveway around the house and over a fence, which they followed for about half a mile and photographed beside a size 14 shoe.

While alone in his third-floor dorm room at night, the witness felt intense cold and saw the window go completely black before the black rose and light returned. Friends later posed for a photo in front of the same window, and when developed it showed a dark outline of a man in a raincoat and brim hat with glowing eyes holding a key beside the witness.

After locals told him about eyes, the guest parked at a dead-end road by the state park, turned off his lights, and watched. After 10-15 minutes he saw two to three pairs of red eyes gliding through the trees with no sound. He says it recurred on later visits and someone photographed the eyes.

The couple hiked an overgrown middle trail where many deer, coyote and other animal tracks were visible. Near a small field they found one full bare-looking right footprint and a partial print showing only toes and ball with no heel or claws. They photographed the prints and continued on.

The younger son came from outside saying a face had appeared on the hill by the fence and then was gone. After the father returned from work the family inspected the spot and found a large foot-shaped impression in tall grass, an area of flattened grass behind the fence, and a plain trail leading up the hill into the woods.
