The witness and two companions were walking upstream frog gigging at night when they noticed a musky odor and heard heavy movement ahead in dense brush. Three rocks were thrown from above across the creek, followed by crashing movement across the water and another rock landing nearby in the creek. An unseen very large mover then rushed toward them through thick brush, prompting the group to leave for their vehicle.

A couple camping alone in a state forestry heard large movements around camp all evening. Around 2 a.m. the husband saw a tall hair-covered biped beside their SUV and illuminated it before it ran past him over a gate into the woods. Later both heard knocks and rocks striking their tent for about an hour until a large rock tore the tent roof. Next morning they found partial prints and fresh bark damage before leaving.

Around 3:30 a.m. on a warm night in late summer 2011, the witness ran outside with a rifle and flashlight after hearing a chicken squawking. About 100 feet away behind the garage, the witness saw huge orange eyes staring from above a chicken coop and estimated the figure at 6 to 7 feet tall. After briefly looking down to ready the rifle, the figure was gone, and the witness heard something crashing fast through brush to the southwest with heavy breathing. A chicken was found alive but missing rear feathers with a pile of feathers nearby and no digging.

On a Friday night during an archery-hunt camping trip, the witness and a relative sat by the campfire while two unseen presences circled the camp, breaking branches, pacing, and making heavy footsteps. Small rocks and sticks were then thrown into camp, including a softball-sized rock that landed nearby, followed by impacts on a food box and the trailer. Others sheltering in the trailer also heard footsteps, breaking branches, impacts, and a heavy sigh, and later a branch-like object was dragged across the trailer roof.

A tall brown-haired female came from the woods, picked up the juvenile and carried it back into the trees. After the witness got out of his car a rock struck the car and a much larger dark individual appeared behind the car, vocalized loudly, then crossed the road into the woods. The witness drove a short distance ahead, stopped, heard movement in the woods and had more small rocks thrown toward him before leaving.

The witness was canoeing alone on the river in the afternoon and had to pull out to drag the canoe around a log jam. He smelled a terrible odor and was paced by something unseen that stopped when he stopped, then heard screaming, breaking limbs, and saw a large log thrown and trees violently shaking. He fled in the canoe to the center of the river.

The witness was sitting outside at night talking on the phone when she heard movement in nearby woods and then noticed a strange odor. She looked up and saw a very large, hair-covered figure standing in a field about 30 feet away. The next morning she and a relative found flattened grass, clearings, and tracks leading into the woods but were too frightened to follow them.

After revving the truck engine the sounds crashed rapidly downhill, and the pair left, seeing deer run across the road as they drove out.

They heard persistent huffing and a growl, experienced silence and a sense of being watched, and reported a dark shape blocking a camper window. A team of four was conducting a nighttime sound survey from a clear-cut overlooking a river valley while one member did a live radio interview from a parked vehicle near the treeline. The interviewer heard repeated charging sounds, footfalls and a grunt-growl from dense brush a few feet away while two teammates uphill watched with a night-vision device. The uphill observers reported a huge 8-foot-plus figure about 25 feet away leaning side to side to look through the trees and moving its arms. The episode lasted about 30 minutes, followed later by a distant scream, and a next-day search found disturbed soil but no footprints.
