Vocalizations at Molalla River from Copper Creek direction
On January 4th the subject reportedly heard loud whistles attributed to two unseen creatures, followed by very loud Yah-hoo sounds from close by. He was described as petrified by the experience. The sounds were then described as disappearing toward Copper Creek.
Wildcat Mountain Road Strange whistle heard, local dogs disturbed
The witness was positioned off a mountain road to monitor an elk herd that regularly fed in the area. A loud, high-pitched whistle lasting about 20 seconds was heard coming from the next canyon. The witness, familiar with wildlife sounds, did not recognize it as elk or cougar. Dogs at nearby homes barked for about five minutes after the whistle.
Whistle near Clackamas County
On a return trip they camped in a lower valley spot. After feeling watched by day and making calls near a creek around 2:30-3am with no reply, they sat at the fire and heard a clear attention whistle from the woods around 3am. They recorded video and felt it was trying to get their attention.
