He noticed a tall, slender silhouette moving upright on two legs along the campground road away from him. He said it covered about 50 feet in 5 or 6 strides before disappearing into darkness, and he interpreted it as a Bigfoot.

A game camera captured a close-up image of long reddish-brown hair directly in front of the lens with no body visible. The property owners then found a series of four large barefoot tracks with visible toes coming from the woods past the same camera. They photographed the tracks with a tape measure, and later investigators measured remaining impressions at about 14 inches long. No one reported seeing the creature directly.

The witness was at home in bed when repeating loud whoop-like sounds woke him and seemed to approach the house, getting louder and more frequent. He woke his wife, who also heard the sound, and went to the back door with a shotgun. When the sound was very close, he fired three rounds toward it, after which the vocalizations stopped and the source receded through the woods behind the house and was never heard again.

After looking back at the road and then again at the river, the figure was still present, but when the witness drove back to check, it was gone.

The witness was stargazing with friends in a foggy open field at night when she noticed a dark, shadowy figure standing in tall grass some distance away observing the group. She tried to alert companions who did not see it, then left for the campfire out of fear. Later the group heard coyotes howling for several minutes before they stopped abruptly, and nothing further happened that night.
