They stopped to watch a dark, long-haired upright figure walk away for about a minute without seeing its face. They returned the next day to find only disturbed brush and a game trail.

The witness returned the next day, feeling afraid, and found only disturbed brush and a game trail.
An investigator visited in a snowstorm, stood in the creek to compare height, and found no tracks because the route was in water.
