The witness and two companions were sitting in a parked vehicle at Eagle Lake late at night with the windows down. After about fifteen to twenty minutes the witness and one companion heard a loud, scream-like howl from woods about fifty yards away. The sound was described as inhuman and very loud, lasting about thirty seconds and heard only once.

The witness was walking in a park with two other adults and a young child in early fall 2011 near dusk. The group heard rhythmic knocks from nearby woods, then heard a loud unfamiliar scream twice while walking back to the car, the second time closer. The tracks were photographed the following day after warm weather had largely melted them, and the photos were later judged too indistinct to include.

Unable to recognize the sounds despite extensive hunting experience, he quickly left the tree and took a logging road by ATV about 3.5 miles back to camp.

From a short distance ahead they heard an extremely loud, high-pitched scream that continued without pause for minutes. As they retreated, trees were heard and seen breaking and falling along a nearby ridge as the unseen source moved parallel to them. They never saw the source and left the area without returning.
