He searched downhill and found a second similar print on a creek sandbar. The family reported the finds, and investigators visited that afternoon and measured both prints.

An experienced trapper reported finding a line of at least twenty large barefoot bipedal tracks that crossed a road and continued down a slope across a creek. The witness followed them briefly but stopped due to snow, blowdown timber and an approaching windstorm, and the original tracks were not measured or photographed. Weeks later an investigator toured the area with the witness and later found two additional tracks in soil, one estimated at 16 inches long with five toes visible and no claw marks.

Two companions hiked through deep snow toward a waterfall in winter and found a trail of very large human-like footprints with a long stride. No other human tracks were present, and the trail crossed a ravine from one wild area to another. They concluded the prints were made by a large bipedal creature. No creature itself was seen.

The witness and companions drove up a snowy mountain road to search for Sasquatch sign. On the drive back down, the witness stopped after spotting tracks crossing the road and recorded them on video. Others joined to examine and follow the trail into the woods until wind and snow obscured it. The group noted the tracks had not been present on the way up.

While deer hunting from a tree stand in the morning, the witness was approached by a companion who was pale and frightened and said something had stalked him aggressively and emitted a terrifying yell. The two investigated together and reported finding trees snapped off high above the ground and deep elongated impressions in dry ground, which they followed for two miles into dense foliage. The witness adds that he was stalked himself the next day.

The witness was deer hunting along a logging road in a mountainous area in 1999 when he noticed wide, footlike tracks in mud and a sudden strong foul odor. The smell dissipated quickly but was unlike anything he had encountered before, including bear odor. The toe details of the tracks were obscured by mud, preventing determination of claws or other features. He reported feeling unsettled and later told family and hunting companions.

Tracks found near a lake by witnesses
The witness reports finding tracks in soft soil at the edge of a freshwater lake in early October 1999, first a single set and then about two weeks later three sets of different sizes. The tracks were where large-leafed underwater plants were growing, and the plants appeared stripped from the water where the tracks were found. The witness photographed and videotaped the tracks and area, but weather destroyed the tracks before a cast could be made, and later visits in November and December found no further sign.

While scouting for deer season, the witness found fresh barefoot-like tracks going through deep mud, briars and a mud swamp instead of the dry trail. The tracks were narrow, deep, long-toed with an apparent left-foot injury, and had a long stride. The witness followed the trackway from the lake inlet across the swamp for about 700 yards until it was lost on dry ground in the forest.

Two people fishing from a dock in the evening heard a powerful roaring scream from the west along the lake. About half a minute later a fisherman came running from the direction of the sound, appearing panicked. The two joined him and all three ran together back to the nearby campground, where he said something had been right next to him. They then broke camp and drove home.

The witness and his wife were driving in the Greenwater area so the witness could hike up a snowy dirt road to look for sunglasses lost the previous winter. While hiking he found a line of unusually deep footprints with a long uphill stride. At the top where snow had melted, the last print was a clear impression in frozen mud showing five toes, arch and heel. He went back downhill to bring his wife to view the tracks.

The tracks are described as unusually deep with a very long average stride, leading from a swampy area through hardwood forest to within 20 yards of a cabin before being lost at a plowed road. On a snowy early winter morning, a witness noticed three large human-like footprints in otherwise undisturbed snow and asked the second witness to look. Both went outside and inspected three very large five-toed prints that appeared isolated without a trail leading in or out. Late at night four friends walking past a graveyard noticed a very large object resting on a branch in a large tree. After they shone a flashlight at it, the object dropped about twenty feet and ran quickly toward woods behind the graveyard. The witness returned at sunrise and found very large impressions in the grass with a stride neither he nor a taller companion could match, leading him to estimate the creature at seven to nine feet tall.
