Two companions hiked through deep snow toward a waterfall in winter and found a trail of very large human-like footprints with a long stride. No other human tracks were present, and the trail crossed a ravine from one wild area to another. They concluded the prints were made by a large bipedal creature. No creature itself was seen.

Measurements: prints bigger than witness's boot; stride would require jumping from track to track
An investigator later interviewed the witness by phone, reviewed print details and stride, asked about contacting the companion, and invited the witness on an expedition.
