A couple stopped their car on an isolated forest road and made whoop sounds. They heard wood knocks and strange whoop-like vocalizations answered from both downhill and uphill sides of the road. The exchange lasted about five minutes until a distant dog barked and the couple left.

Two brothers camped overnight beside a lake in the park. During the night and again after dawn they repeatedly heard a loud aggressive exhale-like sound nearby, along with footsteps and branches breaking as something moved through the forest, followed by scream-like sounds that turned into chatter. In daylight they found a matted vegetation bed, a fresh flattened trail, and footprints in mud where the sounds had come from. The entity itself was never seen.

The witness backpacked solo to a remote campsite and spent the night in a hammock. Throughout the night he heard knocks, screams, howls, voices, footsteps, rocks and twigs landing nearby, and felt his tarp, hammock lines and gear being touched. The witness was photographing along the tree line on the south side of the lake when she heard a close grunting-snorting sound followed by a deep growl without seeing the source. Shaken, she returned toward two fishermen and then left across the dam, photographing a large print in the mud. From the car area she heard the same loud vocalization coming from across the lake where she had been and saw the fishermen hurrying across the dam, after which all parties left.

Four friends camped overnight near a river. After a distant yelp, a companion reported seeing a large shape by the river that could not be made out in the dark. Later the two awake witnesses heard a loud knock on a tree near camp and then bipedal footsteps circling the tent, including contact brushing the tent, before the sounds moved away. A daylight check found no tracks.

The witness and a companion visited Bachelor's Grove in the afternoon to check structures described in a prior report. They observed hand-made tree pyramids, an X, and an arch, heard a siren-like sound and faint mumbling voices, and saw no unknown animals. After the companion left, the witness found a large old footprint with visible toes and additional faint impressions forming a long-stride trackway.

The witness was hiking with a dog toward Wallace Lake when both stopped after hearing a loud human-like yell from across a marshy bog. The sound repeated about a minute later from the same forested area about 75 yards away. The witness looked but saw no person or animal. The witness continued hiking without further incident.

The witness was at home in Rainier, Washington, playing video games when unknown loud calls, cries and hoots were heard on several nights in early February 2011. Some sounds were recorded on a cell phone and a webcam left running overnight and later posted online, with relatives also hearing them. An investigator later had the audio compared to suspected vocalizations and visited the surrounding woods.

At dawn the camper heard loud bird-like calls from multiple directions, and found large grass impressions the next morning.

While leaving the woods they reported being followed by something unseen that produced howls and other vocals, stick-beating sounds, continuing footsteps, and moving vegetation.

The most intense moment was a predawn episode with a deep guttural roar followed by a scream-like sound near camp. They left early after smelling the odor again near a plum thicket.
