After feeling uneasy they started the vehicle and noticed a large crouched figure with red eyes about 30 yards away. As they turned to leave the figure stood, and they passed within about 7-10 feet, seeing a tall, broad, human-like face before driving away.

The creature crossed from right to left and stepped over a guardrail without breaking stride, then continued through a field where cattle moved away from it. Witnesses judged it to be over seven feet tall based partly on its size relative to the cattle.

Two young men were burning trash and playing harmonicas at a house when they started to race toward a barn. After a few steps they saw a very tall, broad figure that stopped and looked toward them, which startled them so they ran back inside the house. Soon after they heard banging sounds described like rocks being thrown at the house, but found no one outside when they checked.

A dog on the porch barked timidly throughout but the figure showed no reaction or aggression.
