Night road crossing observed near El Dorado Springs

Two occupants driving on Highway 54 west of El Dorado Springs at night reported their headlights illuminating a tall, hair-covered biped crossing the road. The creature crossed from right to left and stepped over a guardrail without breaking stride, then continued through a field where cattle moved away from it. Witnesses judged it to be over seven feet tall based partly on its size relative to the cattle.

An investigator called and spoke with both witnesses.
The landowner clarified that the cattle in the field were recently weaned calves, smaller than full-grown cattle.
Record checks indicated the moon had not yet risen at the time and date of the sighting.
