The witness was driving a semi-truck south at night and cycled the headlights for an oncoming car. When the high beams came back on, a tall thin blonde-haired creature was seen crossing a clearing and the road ahead without looking toward the truck. It covered the width in two strides with a steady walking gait and continued into woods on the other side.

The witness and his wife were driving at night when their headlights caught a hair-covered humanlike figure standing on the left side of the road about 25-30 feet away. They watched for about 20 seconds from about 120-130 yards away and then ended the hunt.

A group of six campers sitting around a campfire at night heard strange low and high-pitched sounds approaching through the woods. They scanned with a powerful spotlight and saw a hairy upright figure partly hidden behind a tree about 20-30 yards away, with yellow eye glow. It stayed motionless for 30 to 60 seconds and was gone after the light was briefly turned away.

While preparing a field for planting, workers found large five-toed tracks and two very large cylindrical feces in a freshly plowed field. The tracks led from a grassy area onto a dirt road, into the field where the maker appeared to squat, dig up and eat turtle eggs, then continued into bordering woods. The reporter photographed the sign with a yardstick, made left and right foot casts, and collected fecal and eggshell samples for examination.

The witness and her husband were driving on a narrow gravel road looking for deer in the early afternoon when they noticed a large brown hairy figure bent over near a pine thicket. The figure then stood upright on two legs, showing long arms, broad shoulders, and an estimated 7- to 8-foot height, before running quickly into the thicket. The pair returned the next morning and reported finding small and large footprints, hair on a fence, damaged fencing and poles, and a persimmon with no nearby tree.

After revving the engine and pulling back over a hill, he watched for a few minutes as the calm animal turned and walked into the woods. Two companions parked a motorcycle on a dirt road late at night and walked toward a nearby residence when they heard loud heavy footsteps and brush crashing approaching from a swampy area. They ran back to the motorcycle and fled as the sounds and heavy breathing closed in. As they drove away, one rider looked back and saw a very large, wide, dark hairy figure leap onto the road, land on all fours, then stand erect and grunt. The figure was silhouetted in bright moonlight, preventing detail of face or hands, and was estimated at about seven feet tall.

Four young men camped on a companion's land and heard approaching grunts, heavy footsteps and foul odor across a creek at dusk. After a rock was thrown toward the unseen sounds, something shrieked, circled the camp and emitted a loud high-pitched scream, prompting them to leave and later return with a parent. The primary witness heard noises again overnight, and the next morning the group found large footprints, hair and a bedding area before the primary witness briefly saw a tall hair-covered upright creature that looked at him and ran away.
