A live view checked seconds later showed the figure was gone, and an evening search found no footprints. Comparison photos with a 6-foot relative standing at the same spot suggested the figure was several feet taller and two to three times wider.

The shaken couple fled with their dogs and guns, returning the next morning to estimate its height and find trampled vegetation.

Early one morning in 2017 the witness was driving with a companion toward a boat ramp for a fishing trip. While navigating an S-curve, the witness saw a tall hairy figure cross the road from left to right about 75 yards ahead, moving from shadow into a sunlit patch. The figure disappeared behind a blind spot before the vehicle reached the crossing point, and the companion did not see it. After stopping at the location, the witness found no tracks, trail, or odor.

The witness was set up alone for an evening hunt at the head of a draw accessed by ATV. At about 200 yards he saw two tall dark figures walking side by side up the trail toward him. After about 20 seconds the figures turned off the trail into timber, showing very long arms, and disappeared. The witness waited then rode back toward camp.
