Elk hunter has late afternoon sighting near Spencer

The witness was set up alone for an evening hunt at the head of a draw accessed by ATV. At about 200 yards he saw two tall dark figures walking side by side up the trail toward him. After about 20 seconds the figures turned off the trail into timber, showing very long arms, and disappeared. The witness waited then rode back toward camp.

large log placed in creek to block trail, later expanded with additional logs and stumps
woven stick structure with arched tree frame forming hollow area
Measurements: approximately 6 feet by 12 feet
iPhone video of stick structure taken on return visit
dead deer with lower legs missing, no gut contents, drag marks, bullet or arrow wounds or knife marks
An investigator interviewed the witness by phone and added clarifying details about weather, movement and optics.
