Later that day the witness found bent weeds and faint barefoot-like depressions where the figure had reportedly come from the woods.

The group went to the spot, found flattened brush and a bent-grass trail, estimated the figure's height against the tree, took photos, and then heard knocking beats and hooting sounds after birds flushed and dogs barked in the distance.

The witness and a relative were driving to a store after hunting when they saw a large hairy biped partly behind a scrub oak beside a curved road. The witness slowed and watched it for about 10-15 seconds from about 20-25 feet away before passing and turning around, by which time it was gone. Two companions hiking in Apalachicola National Forest stopped at a shallow brook to cool off. After leaving the water they heard rocks colliding and sticks breaking and went to investigate. They glimpsed an ape-like biped charging away through thick brush, breaking limbs and leaving a foul odor. Afterwards they noted disturbed rocks and a partial heel print that later dried out and was not photographed.

The witness reports seeing a tall hair-covered figure passing the living room picture window about once a year over several years while watching television late at night. The figure is described as walking upright past the window in one direction and sometimes returning minutes later. The witness also reports hearing grunts, screams, footsteps and breaking limbs, and finding large unidentifiable prints in snow and broken branches in the yard.

The creature looked at them, took two steps up an embankment and disappeared. The witness was sitting outside at night talking on the phone when she heard movement in nearby woods and then noticed a strange odor. She looked up and saw a very large, hair-covered figure standing in a field about 30 feet away. Frightened, she ran inside and locked the doors, and a family member found nothing that night with a flashlight. The next morning she and a relative found flattened grass, clearings, and tracks leading into the woods but were too frightened to follow them.

Two companions resting on a high rock overlook watched a large dark biped and a smaller blonde biped moving below in a clear-cut and on a fire road. Over about 20 minutes the figures foraged, interacted closely, and walked erect toward and past the observers before disappearing behind trees. Later the same day the witnesses returned to the spot and reported crushed grass, long stride impressions, and large and small bare footprints.
Snowmobiler has encounter in deep snow near Potter, AK
The witness was snowmachining at night with two companions when the witness rode ahead into an opening in the woods. After noticing strange tracks and a depression in fresh snow, the witness's headlight illuminated a figure about 10 to 12 feet ahead running away. The figure ran through deep snow, jumped over a snow-covered log, and disappeared into trees and darkness. The witness turned back, rejoined the companions, and left the area.
Tracks and feces found in freshly turned field
While preparing a field for planting, workers found large five-toed tracks and two very large cylindrical feces in a freshly plowed field. The tracks led from a grassy area onto a dirt road, into the field where the maker appeared to squat, dig up and eat turtle eggs, then continued into bordering woods. The reporter photographed the sign with a yardstick, made left and right foot casts, and collected fecal and eggshell samples for examination.

The witness was taking a dog outside at night and felt watched after the dog stared and growled. After shining a flashlight in that direction, the witness saw two hairy bipedal figures cross a fence and then ran inside. Relatives then went outside, reportedly saw the larger figure up close, noticed odor and sounds, and the group found large tracks the next day.
A series of encounters on Haga Ridge near the Wayne National Forest
The witness reports inspecting the yard on May 26, 2002 after being told about footprints about two weeks earlier, finding multiple sets of large footprints following a muddy ravine through the front yard. A bird feeder was found bent over while a nearby feeder was untouched, suspected to have been pulled down by the track makers. The witness states the family has not personally seen the creatures.

The witness was fishing downstream from family members when he briefly saw the lower legs of a dark figure stepping from the creek onto the bank and into dense brush. He searched the spot and found wet marks on rocks, disturbed soil, and dung, which companions helped videotape. He concluded the figure was unlikely to be human given the remote, rugged terrain.
"Tree stump" jumps up and runs away
The witness was hiking with family on a trail near their campsite at midday. He noticed a stump-like shape in a sunlit area that suddenly stood and ran away bipedally for about 100 yards. His family did not see it. He reported it to a park worker and later returned to find large tracks and disturbed wood.
