Strange occurrences at a rural cabin near West Union causes owner to put it up for sale
A couple staying overnight on the screened porch of a wooded cabin report two nights of disturbance in June 2017. The first night included talk-like and giggling sounds followed by an hour of limbs breaking all around them. The second night something vocalized loudly near the creek, rushed toward the cabin causing felt impacts, then ran off breaking wood. The next morning they found widespread broken limbs and a snapped tree but no footprints, and did not return.

The witness reports nearly a year of interaction at a rural home property where food left in a tree was taken, rocks were tossed near family members, vocalizations and a strong odor were noted, and a large hairy figure was partly seen beside a tree. A couple camping alone in a state forestry heard large movements around camp all evening. Around 2 a.m. the husband saw a tall hair-covered biped beside their SUV and illuminated it before it ran past him over a gate into the woods. Later both heard knocks and rocks striking their tent for about an hour until a large rock tore the tent roof. Next morning they found partial prints and fresh bark damage before leaving.

Late at night the witness heard a very large bipedal animal moving through snowy woods to the woodline, breaking branches and small trees, but could see nothing despite moonlight. After listening with his wife from an upstairs window, he searched in the morning and reported large humanlike tracks, a crushed fence, and a dismembered deer with legs stacked by a sitting impression. While photographing the scene, he says a thrown stick struck his head, prompting him to run to the house.

On a Friday night during an archery-hunt camping trip, the witness and a relative sat by the campfire while two unseen presences circled the camp, breaking branches, pacing, and making heavy footsteps. Small rocks and sticks were then thrown into camp, including a softball-sized rock that landed nearby, followed by impacts on a food box and the trailer. Others sheltering in the trailer also heard footsteps, breaking branches, impacts, and a heavy sigh, and later a branch-like object was dragged across the trailer roof.
Multiple incidents around river slough south of Belleville
Two companions were camping by a slough around 1 a.m. when loud whooping and moaning calls were heard from about 30 feet behind them and then repeated louder and closer. Their small dog cowered in the tent and stayed silent. They fled in their vehicle leaving gear behind, and the next day found the tent open, food missing, bedding disturbed, and a large unidentified footprint nearby.

Late at night after returning from work, the witness let dogs outside and heard prolonged loud screams, deep throaty sounds, wood clacking and tree-breaking noises attributed to two unseen sources apparently fighting. A deer feed bucket was carried off and left a mess at the feeder area, and horses panicked and ran into fences. No creature was seen.

The witness joined a small group for an overnight camp to practice outdoor skills. In the evening the witness walked east of camp, noticed a strong foul smell and heard vegetation breaking nearby before running back to the group. Overnight the campers were awakened by sounds around the camp followed by a loud crash, and by morning the food hung high above ground was gone, the supporting limb was damaged, and a foul smell lingered. The group then packed and left the area.
Young lady believes that the creature is back
The witness visited a relative's house after a goose was found dead with a broken neck, punctures, and missing insides. She also reports finding a four-toed footprint, flattened weeds suggesting something had lain down and walked through, and damage to a chicken-coop roof. The night had been unusually quiet and livestock were nervous the next morning.

The witness reports inspecting the yard on May 26, 2002 after being told about footprints about two weeks earlier, finding multiple sets of large footprints following a muddy ravine through the front yard. Late at night the witness heard sounds from a large animal in the backyard corn garden while in the living room. The next day a large footprint was found in the garden and corn was missing from the tops of tall stalks with husks left on the ground. A photo of the track was taken.

The witness was camping alone in a tall tent when something large approached at night. A tall shadow with broad shoulders was cast on the tent by an outside lantern. The visitor opened food containers, ate bread, growled, overturned a cooler and carried off meat before leaving toward the river where vocalizations were heard. Large footprints and teeth marks were found the following morning.

Three people hunting in the early morning reached a frost-covered hilltop clearing. They found a shredded shrub with branches piled like bedding, numerous freshly dug holes, and a stump holding freshly picked plants, all without frost. They inferred something had been there just before them and left as they approached.

The witness and a relative were on their deck at night when their dog barked persistently at the woods edge. The witness approached and found a crouched hairy animal that then stood upright on two feet and ran into the woods, knocking down trees amid screaming. Three people camped without tents in woods near Traverse City. During the night they heard movement around camp and sounds of something disturbing the vehicle, but waited until daylight to check. In the morning they found ferns flattened in a circle around the camp and very large footprints on a sandy road and by a creek, which the witness believes was a Bigfoot.
