A group on a yacht anchored in a small inlet. After a vocal exchange the first night and finding broken shells, they watched at night with thermal imagers. They recorded a large heat signature standing, squatting and harvesting shellfish on the beach. Next morning only tiny shellfish remained, and the following night a companion put ashore for comparison was approached within feet by a growling individual and quickly picked up.

Shortly after moving into the cabin in November 2004, the witness smelled a sudden intense rotting-deer and sewage stench in the front yard that vanished minutes later. Over the following weeks from the back porch they repeatedly heard distant tree knocking and whoops similar to Colorado, coming from the woods toward the river.

While backpacking with his partner, the witness woke at night and saw huge solid green eyes staring from the trail. After turning on his headlamp he saw skin and an outline of a very tall figure with a smaller agile figure moving behind it. The figures left, knocking continued all night, something approached the tent, and next morning large and small footprints were found on the trail.

The witness's friend bought remote property and started building a cabin for outdoor use. From the start of visiting the property, rocks were seen flying out of the woods and strange knocks, vocalizations and whistles were heard. The owner had no prior interest in the subject and did not seek out the activity.

A friend who hikes almost every weekend above town reportedly had a creature walk up the trail between him and a sleeping companion. It spoke past him in full sentences in a voice described as a beautiful woman's voice, he spoke back, and they paused for each other as it moved by.
