Family in a camper describes stalking outside town of Hatfield
A couple camping overnight in a camper with their children awoke around 2 a.m. to the sound of bipedal footsteps circling the camper. After turning on lights, shouting, and checking outside with a flashlight revealed nothing and the steps repeatedly resumed, the family left for a town parking lot. They returned in the morning but found no tracks in the leaf-covered ground.

The witness was hunting hogs from a tree stand at sunrise when he watched a large hairy biped stalk hogs from tree to tree. The animal charged on all fours, killed a hog with blows, then carried it off while exchanging whooping calls with another unseen individual. It paused to stare at the witness before leaving. A hunting partner nearby heard the attack scream and whoops.
Footsteps (2004)
The witness hiked a restricted wildlife area trail in winter to test a new video camera. She heard slow ice-crunch footsteps approaching from the ridge that she could pinpoint but could not see. After whispering into the camera, she heard a cough in cane brush on one side answered from a deadfall on the other side, felt flanked, and left quickly.
Possible repeat approaches to a rural residence at night outside OPP
The witness describes recurring strange noises around the family home shared with parents, including window banging, howls around dusk, growls, moans, grunts and rocks striking the house. The source was never seen, and indoor and outdoor dogs reportedly failed to react normally. A dank odor was also noted over several days. The activity is presented as ongoing, mainly at night and around dusk.
Strange vocalizations heard
The witness and a companion hiked the same timber route as the previous day and heard a very loud whooping and howling-like sound nearby. The sound seemed to occur while they were moving and stopped when they stopped. When they returned to the parked vehicle, another person waiting there said he had also heard a loud howling from the timber.
Couple has two sightings near home
A couple of years ago at a cabin, the witness and a companion went outside at night with a flashlight to investigate a smell and noises. An outhouse fell over, and something stared at them and made a loud noise for a few seconds before running away. Neighbors came out afterward while the witness remained in shock.
Sasquatch walks past window of house at night
The witness's daughter was home alone late at night when she heard something pacing back and forth outside her bedroom window. She looked out and saw a very large black figure that appeared well above the bottom of the window. She called her parent terrified and hid until she was picked up. The reporting parent found her hysterical and felt uneasy approaching the house.
Hiker notices smell, sees creature
The witness was on a morning hike in the mountains when a strong foul odor was noticed, followed by branches breaking and birds falling silent. A large brown figure was seen moving about 25 yards ahead, then appeared stopped and looking back with amber reflective eyes. The witness reports being unable to move and states the experience changed prior disbelief.
02/15/04 Rensselaer County, NY: Vocalizations, with Tracks Found the Next Day
Late at night a resident went onto the porch after the outside dog became highly agitated and heard continuous loud shrieking screams, which the spouse also heard. The next morning footprints were found in deep snow leading across a field toward the forest with long strides, and a second set was reported to join the first in the woods. Photographs of the tracks were said to have been taken.
Teens out wandering around bored, hear creature squeal, chased into building
Two companions walking late at night heard rustling moving around them in bushes and heard a squeal, then encountered a huge 8 to 9 foot tall entity that approached them. They fled to a nearby shop, heard a bang, and saw the entity staring at them through the window before it ran away. They remained inside the shop for the rest of the night until morning.
Possible footprints found in snow outside Marquette
The witness and a companion were walking up a remote dirt road at night looking for snowboarding hills when they heard a strange sound and found large bare-foot-like prints with visible toes in the snow. After discussing the prints, which were wider and longer than a 12-inch flashlight with a very long stride, a nearby tree began shaking violently and dropping snow and branches, prompting them to run back to the car and leave.

The witness and companions were riding 4-wheelers on a large ranch around midnight when one vehicle got stuck in mud. While waiting, the witness heard a single long loud moaning sound from a distance. A companion present did not hear the sound. Days later the witness said the sound matched a long moaning recording on a research website.
Predator caller has night time encounter in Sam Houston National Forest
The witness was using an electronic predator call at night when he heard an unidentified sound behind him. He shined a red-filtered light toward the sound and saw a dark animal he first took for a bear. The animal stood upright and moved away quickly on two legs while making a continuous deep, raspy growl that faded with distance.

The witness describes feeling a presence approaching while talking on a friend's back porch on a warm early fall evening. Within seconds both witnesses heard a loud roar then squeal and saw tall bushes shake three backyards away.
Fisherman hears vocalizations
The witness was fishing alone at a river spot downstream from a canoe camp late in the day. As he prepared to leave, he heard loud screams or yells from the hill across the river that seemed to move and continued for about 25 minutes, with leaves rustling enough to locate the source. He crouched still and then walked out without ever seeing what made the sounds. He reported feeling watched earlier and believed the sounds were not a panther.
Woman describes howls, livestock disturbances near home
The witness was waiting on the front porch at night when llamas, dogs and poultry became agitated and a loud half-scream/half-howl was heard. The witness went inside to listen through a cracked door until the husband arrived, when the sound stopped. About twenty minutes later the howling resumed from south of the house while the animals remained disturbed.
Growl in Kentucky (2004)
After returning from his second Iraq deployment while living on a rural forty-acre rental near Land Between the Lakes, the witness heard an unidentifiable loud growl near a tobacco barn and repeatedly heard stalking-like rustling and walking sounds when outside. He regularly confronted the presence with a bat but it never showed itself. One Saturday night his new Jeep disappeared from the front yard and was found pushed fifty yards to the edge of a creek bed without going in.

On the last night of the trip the group did call blasting at a pullout above a steep river basin and saw eye shine moving in the trees. The witness walked to the road and stared for many minutes at two sets of almond-shaped eyes on an embankment that blinked and made a lip-blowing sound. When others returned with spotlights the figures had vanished, and the next day tracks showed where they had come up.
Whistle in California (2004)
During a multi-night camping trip with his son, the witness heard whistling on both sides of the trailer the first night. In the morning they found large footprints by the trailer and across a creek, and later saw numerous tree breaks around the campground and roads.
Wood knock (2004)
After the initial incident the witness visited the same trail system regularly for years. From a spot near the switchback she tapped rocks and received answering knocks that approached from far away to within tens of yards. She also describes small rocks tossed down from the bluff toward her, which she interprets as non-threatening juvenile behavior, and once demonstrated the exchange for four visiting researchers.
