Fisherman hears vocalizations
Account
The witness was fishing alone at a river spot downstream from a canoe camp late in the day. As he prepared to leave, he heard loud screams or yells from the hill across the river that seemed to move and continued for about 25 minutes, with leaves rustling enough to locate the source. He crouched still and then walked out without ever seeing what made the sounds. He reported feeling watched earlier and believed the sounds were not a panther.
