The witness stepped outside the home on consecutive February nights and noticed a strong wet-fur odor, progressive dog barking followed by eerie high-pitched calls from across the river, and repeated knocking sounds like wood impacts. He compared the vocalizations to a reference recording and noted the nights were dry, clear and calm. No visual of the source was reported during these nighttime events.

The witness and his wife were outside watching their dogs late at night when they heard an unfamiliar sound from the north toward a creek. The wife said she had never heard such a sound before. After going inside, she compared it to animal and Bigfoot audio clips and said it sounded identical to the Bigfoot clips.

Later the youngest member ran back saying a hairy being ran at him on all fours, and the group smelled a strong foul odor as the being climbed a steep slick-rock hill.

Ten years later the guest returned to the same area with his wife and dogs to camp and hunt. Over several quiet nights they heard slow footsteps circling the large cabin tent and stepping on a tarp. A finger was seen pressing and scratching the tent fabric near the center top, prompting the guest to rack a shotgun and the visitor to leave. In the morning he found only disturbed dust and a possible heel mark and could not recreate the high reach.

While walking slowly and scanning with a military-grade thermal, the guest watched a large heat signature with a visible head moving up and down in bushes about forty feet away for around forty seconds. Later that night the group heard howls, wood knocks, and noticed faint smells before leaving to avoid locked gates.

After returning to hunting years later, the guest heard a loud bellow-scream-grunt while in his tree stand, then encountered a tall female sasquatch standing in shallow water at a spring. They stared at each other until she noticed his rifle, gave a warning look, then leapt away in three long jumps. With friends the next day he found and measured tracks showing about sixty-three feet in three leaps.
