The guest and two companions drove up a mountain road south of town late at night to look for activity. While walking slowly and scanning with a military-grade thermal, the guest watched a large heat signature with a visible head moving up and down in bushes about forty feet away for around forty seconds. A companion looked with a second thermal and also saw the figure leaning against a tree before it slipped away. Later that night the group heard howls, wood knocks, and noticed faint smells before leaving to avoid locked gates.
