Possible bigfoot encounters at night on Wachusett Mountain, 7 miles west of Leominster
The witness was hiking down a mountain road at dusk. Near the 10th Mountain trail he saw a large dark shape move a few feet sideways then crouch down, showing what looked like head and shoulders. As he continued toward the parking lot he heard branch snaps from the woods on both sides of the road.

The witness was walking to a deer hunting blind before sunrise when he noticed a dark shape lying across the trail in moonlight. When he shone his flashlight on it, the shape rose to vertical, turned away, and walked bipedally into dense vegetation almost silently. He later heard a throat-clearing sound from the thicket and found only disturbed leaves where it had gone.

In November 2022 the witness took a young child deer hunting and sat against a tree on a ridgeline at dawn. After hearing a loud baby-like cry and a heavy barreling sound down the cliff, the witness saw a large black-haired bipedal creature stop nearby, appear angry, then soften, gesture with its hands, back away, and leap up the cliff out of sight. The witness left with the child and later found large marks where the creature had climbed.
Structure or nest near Hot Springs, North Carolina (2022)
The witness parked by a gated abandoned road and walked about a mile, then left the road to inspect tire marks. He found teepee-like stick structures, snapped saplings he could not break, and downed trees funneling movement into a wash. Birds went silent, loud tongue-clicking surrounded him with an answering whistle, and objects sounding like rocks were thrown as he left. From a field with a large quartz rock he saw a dark shape in a distant tree.
Scream in Utah (2022)
After hearing a prolonged scream like a woman dying in the distance, the witness checked the outward-facing camera and saw a large figure on the garage roof reaching down with an arm. When infrared light hit it, the figure quickly lifted its arm and head to stare at the camera, showing a broad mouth, lips, nose and eyes. The witness stopped watching and felt shaken.

The witness and a relative were hunting deer late in the afternoon when they heard sounds like wood blocks struck together. Moments later they saw a dark fur-covered figure moving upright very quickly through thick brush, visible only from the upper thigh up for a few seconds. About five minutes later they heard a loud thud like a limb falling.

On the morning of 11 October the witness was watching skittish deer from the cabin and scanned the treeline with optics. He claims to have seen a very tall, wide, greyish-brown hair-covered figure standing upright and slowly moving its head, with eye sockets visible. He also heard four whistles and saw a second smaller dark figure moving in cover nearby. He watched for about 30 minutes before having to leave.

The two hikers set up a thermal camera on a tripod in a field to watch for deer and bear at night. They observed a large upright creature crossing a road on thermal, approaching to about 90 feet, then fleeing into a thicket where facial details were seen. Later they heard a howl, whoops from multiple directions and grunting near the truck, then felt an impact while driving out that left a dent from a thrown rock.

Shortly after going to sleep in a large tall tent, he heard and felt heavy footsteps paired with growling approaching. He looked up through the open tent top and saw a very large face staring down at him that showed shock then anger and growled before stomping away through camp past another camper's van and down a trail.

Two companions sat in a parked car in Mohican State Park after jokingly making whoop calls, then heard two tree knocks from a steep wooded slope close by. They moved to a more open picnic area where birds grew loud then suddenly stopped, a rock tumbled down a cliff, and the witness saw the left foot, leg and hip of a muscular, short black-haired animal slip behind a tree before they left.

The couple returned to the same road to measure the 2003 crossing and hike all day. They smelled strong urine and rotten-meat odors, found odd stacked limbs and other tree breaks, and watched a large limb fly over a cliff into the creek. Through binoculars the witness saw a black-furred being from waist up behind a tree staring back until it blinked, hid, reappeared, and later vanished by bending down. The husband saw an arm, they heard knocks, a whoop and running, and later found a large bare footprint in a creek bank and an impression behind a tree.

The witness and companions were calling coyotes at the edge of a field at night when they noticed yellowish eyeshine behind a tree. They watched through scopes as the source of the eyeshine moved behind the tree, crouched low, briefly disappeared, reappeared nearby, crouched again and then vanished. An apparent wood knock had been heard earlier in the outing.

While outside near dark the witness and friend looked uphill and saw a huge furry leg from shin down through vines. The witness shined a truck light on it confirming hair moving. After a whistle from the hollow they looked back and it was gone.

Two soldiers left for dead in a training exercise waited in a Humvee in the dark jungle when one turned on a headlamp and saw a pale woman with long black hair peeking through the rear flap. They heard shuffling and running footsteps with no one visible and later heard a woman whispering over a radio with no frequency loaded, leaving them frightened all night.

A light reflected eyes in a tree, then something growled, showed large teeth, and approached as snow crunched. A couple hunting deer from brush heard a loud crunch and saw a tall hairy man-like figure watching them from behind a tree about 60-80 yards away. After briefly looking at each other, they found it had slipped out of view. Minutes later they heard another crunch and glimpsed the same figure heading toward thicker brush near a creek bottom, shortly after which two does hurried past as if fleeing.

Trail cameras reportedly captured gravel in motion and a large black partial figure showing shoulder, arm and open hand.

The witness was camping with his wife and four children at a primitive site off a forest road. Over several days and nights they repeatedly heard loud hollow bonking sounds from different directions. One morning the witness saw a large gray hair-covered figure partially obscured by foliage across the road, which flexed visibly muscular tissue and then left silently with smooth fluid motion. He searched the area on foot and by sitting in concealment that evening, noticed unusual wildlife silence and a sense of being watched, and heard a final knock above the tent that night.

The witness was hiking a loop trail alone while geocaching in early spring. After hearing indistinct voices and what seemed like a person imitating an owl, the witness turned toward the sound near a pond and saw a tall, lean, black figure turning and dropping to the ground behind a stone wall about 40 yards away. The witness continued on, initially rationalizing it as a person, but later concluded it was not human due to its height, very long arms and odd movement.

After shooting a buck in rain, the witness followed a tracking string that unexpectedly went 15 feet up into trees and across toward high sand dunes. He later found a rear leg, front leg, blood and guts indicating something else had torn the deer. He then saw a wide black figure and a thinner gray figure fight, with one slapped rolling down the hill before walking off.
