Dogman sighting near Peru, Indiana (2007)
The witness and a coworker were driving home in separate vehicles in the dark when both swerved to avoid a tall headless black shape walking unnaturally in the road. They returned to the spot and found a very large dog-like animal lying across both lanes that lifted its head, growled deeply, stood up on two legs to eye level, stared, then dropped to a crouch and left toward a fenced ditch. A small wet mouse then stood between the two men cleaning itself and showed no fear when nudged, after which both left for home.

The witness and his wife were outside watching their dogs late at night when they heard an unfamiliar sound from the north toward a creek. The wife said she had never heard such a sound before. Late at night at home, the witness was woken by a relative to listen to loud screams outside. The worker heard a whistle, had a large industrial fan thrown, and had work lights repeatedly turned to face a different direction, but found no one outside. Seven relatives hiked at midnight toward a wash leading to the river and heard strange screams, howls and vocalizations. The guest approached large eyeshine and saw a huge red-haired being with softball-sized amber eyes and a cone head swaying and vocalizing. Later the youngest member ran back saying a hairy being ran at him on all fours, and the group smelled a strong foul odor as the being climbed a steep slick-rock hill.

Ten years later the guest returned to the same area with his wife and dogs to camp and hunt. Over several quiet nights they heard slow footsteps circling the large cabin tent and stepping on a tarp. A finger was seen pressing and scratching the tent fabric near the center top, prompting the guest to rack a shotgun and the visitor to leave. In the morning he found only disturbed dust and a possible heel mark and could not recreate the high reach.

The witness, conducting nighttime Bigfoot research with two companions in the hills near Honobia, walked slowly up a mountain road using a military-grade thermal imager. About forty feet away he watched a large head bobbing above roadside bushes for roughly forty seconds, appearing bright white with no detail in thermal. A companion with a second thermal also saw the animal leaning against a tree before it moved away, while howls, wood knocks and faint smells were noted around midnight.

The witness and two companions were backpacking and camping in a wilderness area, working to start a fire at dusk when the witness and one companion heard a loud, long howl-like scream repeated three times from far up a hollow. The witness judged it unlike any known local animal call. Later that night after the fire burned down, the witness alone heard loud stomping and large branches snapping near the creek close to camp for a few minutes.

The witness was driving south on Route 55 near Seneca Rocks late at night in rain while towing a trailer when he saw a tall hair-covered biped about 20 feet away. He turned around, shined headlights and a flashlight into the woods, then heard movement through brush, vocalizations and wood pounding for several minutes before silence. He returned the next day, found apparent footprints, and photographed them.

The witness and his daughter were sleeping in a tent at a small campground when they were awakened around 3 a.m. by loud, powerful howl-like calls coming from a nearby swampy area. He later noted the calls sounded similar to vocalizations heard on a television program about Bigfoot.

She heard branches breaking, felt watched, and noticed a foul odor, then watched a very tall bulky figure standing between pines and swaying side to side for several minutes before leaving. Her companion in the passenger seat did not see the figure, reportedly because of dashboard light glare.
