The witness and a male companion were helping move into an isolated old farmhouse in Iowa in March 2007. After moving until late at night around a large bonfire, a huge creature revealed itself by shaking and breaking a large oak tree about 20-30 feet away while producing an extremely loud vocalization. The two men fled into the house, barricaded the doors, and hid until sunrise. In the morning they found the oak severely damaged with snapped limbs and cracked trunk.

The witness and a companion were in a wooded strip mine area in the morning when they heard a loud groaning sound. They went to check for someone hurt and saw a large brown figure standing about six feet tall. The witness yelled to scare it, the figure looked at them and then ran off into the mines. They searched for about an hour without seeing it again.

The witness entered a cave that had a strong ape-like smell. Inside they perceived only a dark shadow, felt a rough scratch on their backside, and heard a deep purring sound. Frightened, the witness ran out of the cave with eyes closed and never returned.

The witness and a coworker were driving home in separate vehicles in the dark when both swerved to avoid a tall headless black shape walking unnaturally in the road. They returned to the spot and found a very large dog-like animal lying across both lanes that lifted its head, growled deeply, stood up on two legs to eye level, stared, then dropped to a crouch and left toward a fenced ditch. A small wet mouse then stood between the two men cleaning itself and showed no fear when nudged, after which both left for home.

The witness and his wife were outside watching their dogs late at night when they heard an unfamiliar sound from the north toward a creek. The wife said she had never heard such a sound before. After going inside, she compared it to animal and Bigfoot audio clips and said it sounded identical to the Bigfoot clips.

The guest approached large eyeshine and saw a huge red-haired being with softball-sized amber eyes and a cone head swaying and vocalizing. Later the youngest member ran back saying a hairy being ran at him on all fours, and the group smelled a strong foul odor as the being climbed a steep slick-rock hill.

Ten years later the guest returned to the same area with his wife and dogs to camp and hunt. Over several quiet nights they heard slow footsteps circling the large cabin tent and stepping on a tarp. A finger was seen pressing and scratching the tent fabric near the center top, prompting the guest to rack a shotgun and the visitor to leave. In the morning he found only disturbed dust and a possible heel mark and could not recreate the high reach.

The guest and two companions drove up a mountain road south of town late at night to look for activity. While walking slowly and scanning with a military-grade thermal, the guest watched a large heat signature with a visible head moving up and down in bushes about forty feet away for around forty seconds. A companion looked with a second thermal and also saw the figure leaning against a tree before it slipped away. Later that night the group heard howls, wood knocks, and noticed faint smells before leaving to avoid locked gates.

After returning to hunting years later, the guest heard a loud bellow-scream-grunt while in his tree stand, then encountered a tall female sasquatch standing in shallow water at a spring. They stared at each other until she noticed his rifle, gave a warning look, then leapt away in three long jumps. With friends the next day he found and measured tracks showing about sixty-three feet in three leaps.

The witness was on guard at night in a forest camp during a training exercise with blanks. Bipedal footsteps approached from a distance to about fifteen yards, prompting the witness to fire blanks. A large shadowy form ran along the edge and through the camp, brushing high branches, as others woke and flares were fired.

Ten years later the witness returned to the same area with his spouse and dogs for hunting and slept in a tall cabin tent. At night after dinner they heard slow footsteps circle the tent on a fallen tarp and then saw a finger press and scratch near the center of the tent roof. The witness tested reach the next morning and concluded no person could have reached that far, finding only disturbed dust and a possible heel mark.

While working alone overnight security in the mountains his truck died and he had no gun or working lights. He heard footsteps and limbs breaking circling the truck, pretended to be asleep until morning when he got a jump.
