While scouting for bear season in the same Minnesota swamp area, the witness was pushed from behind into the swamp. Turning, he saw a large but thin, mangy-looking human-like creature moving away 40 to 50 yards distant. As he left, it paralleled him for about a quarter mile, repeatedly stepping toward him then backing away with trembling shoulders and hands, curling its lip and displaying. A week later he returned, found a 14 3/4-inch track showing it had circled him, felt watched, and heard a loud double whistle near the old driveway.

The witness was asked to check a woman's claim of a demon in her attic bedroom. During a daytime visit with a friend and a photographer, the woman duplicated his drawing exactly, an invisible barrier blocked him from entering the attic, the air turned cold, her eyes turned solid white, and he fled. Returning about ten days later, the house was gone and replaced by a gravel lot, and a neighbor said it had been torn down four years earlier.

The witness was hunting deer in a river basin in the evening when he heard brush breaking and later saw movement in trees about 80-90 yards away. Through naked eye and rifle scope he observed an upright hair-covered creature watching him, bending its knees repeatedly, then walking across the basin while continuing to watch before entering timber. He left the area quickly without pursuing tracks and reported no further incident.

The witness was scouting for deer near a persimmon tree in the evening when he noticed an animal feeding. Initially thinking it was a bear, he watched for about 20 minutes as it alternated between standing to pick fruit and dropping to the ground. When it left, it walked away upright on two legs for about 40 yards, convincing him it was not a bear.

At dusk the witness heard a weed-eater-like whirling sound from the woods behind the backyard and walked back to investigate. He saw a dark figure sitting with its back to him that stood up, gathered something to its chest, and quickly left into the woods. He described the figure as female, about six feet tall, about 30 yards away.

The witness and two friends were on a three-day hiking and camping trip in the mountains near Asheville. On the third day they were spread out traversing a steep slope when the witness stopped to rest and heard movement in thick brush below. Something rushed from behind, knocked him into a tree, then stood over him as he lay on his stomach, vocalizing loudly when he tried to look up and swaying while breathing heavily. It glanced toward a second noise downhill, then left as the friends approached calling out, leaving the witness injured and shaken.

In June 2008 around 9:30 p.m., the witness was walking with a child along a road toward a farm when a strange high-pitched howl and musty odor were noticed. A tall, hairy human-like figure emerged from a cornfield and followed at a distance as they hurried toward a waiting vehicle. When vehicle headlights were turned on, the figure paused, vocalized again, and retreated quickly into the corn. The waiting adult also heard the vocalization.

The witness was walking on a dirt road in the evening when a gray-brown figure was seen standing between bushes at a distance. After the witness spoke, the figure made a loud grunt, then turned toward a second grunt heard deeper in the forest and walked away. The witness ran back to a relative, and a next-day visit found a broken branch and flattened vegetation but no footprints.

The witness and a friend split up to scout for turkeys on the grandfather's ranch in the afternoon. The witness walked a ridge into the wind and surprised a large hairy creature bedded 8-10 feet away. The creature emitted a loud whoop and force that froze the witness, then slid rapidly down the rocky ridge using trees, stood, bared its teeth, and left silently. The witness fled cross-country to a road and later returned to the house where the grandfather had fired signal shots.

A young hunter entered a remote village appearing terrified. Through his uncle's translation he said he had met a large orange-furred giant called Umar while hunting by the river that morning. The creature had been fishing, smelled him, and chased him until he hid between rocks. He asked the soldiers to kill the monster.

The witness was walking the dog in the front yard late at night in snow and moonlight when dogs went quiet and a musky odor appeared. The witness heard heavy two-legged steps and watched a tall hairy figure with a conical head cross a field with long strides and step over a barbed-wire fence. After whistling, the witness raised a hand and the figure appeared to raise its hand in return before leaving.

While attending a spiritual retreat, the guest walked in the woods on a break and noticed a uniformly black fuzzy figure about 150 feet away near the main trail. The figure appeared to be spying on approaching attendees, stepping high over brush. It seemed to pass behind a large tree trunk and never reappeared.
Nighttime sighting (in headlights) by law enforcement officer on patrol near Cloverdale
The witness, on patrol driving west on Highway 128 outside Cloverdale, first noticed movement and eye reflection in brush along a ravine. After backing up, the witness observed a tall, brown-furred bipedal figure walking away through overgrowth, pushing branches aside with its arm. The witness then stopped and listened for several minutes as slow crunching sounds receded toward a creek area.

Shortly before midnight during a multi-camp expedition, the witness borrowed a handheld thermal imager to look for the cause of a branch break near camp. Through the imager he watched a large unclothed human-like figure partly behind a tree about 30-50 yards away for over two minutes as it moved its head, dropped to the ground, crawled and gestured, then stood motionless with its back to him. He left to get recording equipment, but the figure was gone when another researcher checked moments later.

The witness was driving along a highway beside a river with a companion when he first mistook an animal on an overhanging tree or log for a bear. Looking back, he claimed to see a large ape-like creature crouched over the water with an arm extended toward the river as if trying to catch a fish. He said he clearly saw human-like facial features and was certain it was not a bear.

After calling turkeys that suddenly fled, he saw a dark figure approach that he first mistook for a person, then recognized as a large hair-covered creature. The creature confronted him vocally, reacted aggressively when he reached for his shotgun, shook a small pine tree, then stared before walking away yelling, after which the witness fled to his vehicle.

The witness arrived early to turkey hunt from a prepared clearing on land he had leased for years. After calling for about two hours he watched approaching turkeys suddenly flee, then heard slow bipedal footsteps in the creek bottom. A dark figure he first mistook for a person approached to about eighty feet, grabbed a pine, vocalized angrily with language-like sounds and growls, displayed teeth, rocked and shook the tree, then walked away and gave a loud abrupt yell. The witness waited before leaving on foot, heard a loud fresh tree break, ran to his four-wheeler, left, then returned with a rifle to watch the treeline.
Dogman sighting near Peru, Indiana (2007)
The witness and a coworker were driving home in separate vehicles in the dark when both swerved to avoid a tall headless black shape walking unnaturally in the road. They returned to the spot and found a very large dog-like animal lying across both lanes that lifted its head, growled deeply, stood up on two legs to eye level, stared, then dropped to a crouch and left toward a fenced ditch. A small wet mouse then stood between the two men cleaning itself and showed no fear when nudged, after which both left for home.

A biologist accepted an invitation to spend a week at a Kentucky property where others reported habituated Sasquatches. Midweek he was called to look at a fence row where an upright form rocked behind vegetation, showing a shoulder and head-like shape. When a woman approached with food and vocalizations, it turned, raised a large arm while departing, and walked into the forest.
