The witness was scouting for a deer stand site in a swampy pine forest in the early afternoon. After hearing a distant splash and nearby snapping limbs, the witness saw a massive ape-like animal running away while grunting. The animal disappeared into the swamp, leaving a strong musk smell. The witness left, unsure what had been seen.
Man walking dog reports growls and thrown rocks 9 miles east of Harrisonburg
The witness returned to the parked truck after walking dogs uphill on a road. He found a truck door open, then two rocks came from an uphill ridge, one landing in front of the truck and a larger one passing close to him. He heard two low grunts from that direction and later heard brush moving away as he left to get assistance.

The witness was fishing alone at a series of strip-mine ponds when he heard snorting, brush movement, and then loud wood-on-wood knocks that continued as he walked out. As he headed uphill to his truck he saw distant movement behind brush in dense cover. He interpreted the sounds and movement as Sasquatch warning him away, shouted that he was leaving, and drove off.
YESTERDAY (09/01/2024): Hikers hear chatter and whoops of a large animal in Founders Grove, 33mi SE of Eureka
The witness and a companion were hiking the Founders Grove loop just after sunset when the woods went quiet and they heard chattering vocalizations. They felt immediate dread and judged whatever made the sounds to be huge. As they retreated toward their vehicle they heard movement in brush going deeper into the woods, and when the witness whooped back the chatter answered again. They hurried back to their car.

While hiking alone near sunset, the witness heard steps that stopped when he stopped. After waiting, he continued on an overgrown trail and heard something pacing him about 15 feet away though nothing was visible. The woods went silent, then something close by laughed like a hyena, and it followed him until near the mountaintop.

That night the party climbed the same mountain and the witness sat apart while others settled. He heard quiet brushing movement circling his position, then a long loud howl rose from the valley, and on the descent the party reported being paced, green eyeshine, and a bright head behind rocks seen on thermal by several members. As the witness took the lead near a thicket he heard a close juvenile-like two-syllable vocalization but saw nothing with his light.

The group confronted it, heard loud hissing and a loud bellow-whoop as it quickly climbed a rock face and disappeared. Two campers floating and fishing the Lower Buffalo River heard loud monkey-like vocalizations from the bank and later camped on a gravel bar. Through the night they reported repeated wood knocks, yells, chatter, whistles, a tree snap, and cantaloupe-sized rocks landing in the river from the ridge across from camp. They lit the camp, kept fire watch in shifts, and at dawn packed and paddled out after a final rock fell in front of them.

The witness and a companion camped in a tent near a pond and listened through most of the night to repeated whoops, howls, whistles, gibberish-like chatter and rumbling from multiple directions across the water and woods. Later something splashed and charged in the water near the tent, followed by loud snorts, breathing, and footsteps on a nearby dirt road, while movement was heard between the tent and fire. The witness searched outside with a light and firearm but saw nothing, and the sounds stopped after dawn.

The guest and his bandmate approached a cave and heard a gentle male voice speaking an unintelligible strange language for about thirty seconds. After announcing themselves the voice stopped, then something jumped about twenty feet into brush and moved bipedally up the ridge toward them making bad mountain-lion-like sounds. They counted to three and fled to their van.
Sasquatch sighting in Mississippi (2020)
The witness was deer hunting alone from an elevated stand off a power line in a state wildlife management area on a December afternoon. After hearing heavy breathing and movement, the witness observed a large black hairy human-like figure first on all fours then sitting and standing. The figure vocalized in gibberish-like speech, screamed, grunted, approached to about 30 yards and remained for an extended period before tearing vegetation and moving off. While the witness fled toward a truck, movement paralleled the witness in the woods while vocalizations continued behind, suggesting a second individual, and the witness fired a shot in the air before driving away.

The witness and companions were elk hunting and hiking up Spencer Butte on a rainy morning when two of them heard a distant yowl. At the top the witness found an alder shaking without wind and heard something moving away. Shortly after the witness found a large left-foot print with distinct toes in mud and gravel and photographed it.
Campers hear loud deep howls near Lake Texoma
Four campers sitting around a campfire at night heard two deep howls from the south, then a higher-pitched howl from the northwest, followed about 20 minutes later by a close whoop. Through the night they also heard brush breaking, grunts around 1 a.m., and noticed a slight odor. A morning search found nothing solid, though exploration toward the first vocalizations reportedly revealed a freshly snapped elevated branch.

The witness was sitting by a campfire at the cabin at night when the dogs ran to the yard's edge barking and growling. A loud repetitive 'scree' call was heard from just beyond the light for several minutes, continuing after the dogs were put inside. Around 2 a.m. on a clear night in late October, the witness heard growls and other noises outside his home and went out with a flashlight to investigate. He reported a strong dead-animal odor, movement across the road, and green eyeshine, then watched a tall dark bipedal animal cross the road into his woods and viewed it at close range in the treeline before retreating to the house. He reported hearing noises through the rest of the night and finding a few tracks afterward.

Later the same day the pair hiked deep into the forest, first noting twisted broken branches pointed toward the trail. On a thicker, darker return trail they heard bipedal footsteps on both sides, a whistle, a deep vocal sound, and smelled a foul odor while the woods stayed silent. After reaching a logging clearing with empty cabins, they turned to see the back of a tall dark-haired biped before hurrying to a paved road where workers directed them out.

The witness reported repeated unexplained sounds and smells over several years while living on a large wooded and pasture property. He described loud yells or screams at dusk, growls and bird-like chirps after midnight, occasional heavy stomping, and recurring foul odors. He never saw an animal directly and only later considered a Bigfoot explanation after discussion with a relative.

The witness's husband was hunting alone from an elevated stand on the evening of November 18, 2019. He heard a series of loud vocalizations, howls, knocks and gibberish-like sounds from dense brush, with a second individual answering from down a draw. After he shouted a warning and fired a shot toward advancing growls, two unseen creatures charged through the brush chasing him to the road, where they stopped as he fled to his truck.

The witness reports nearly a year of interaction at a rural home property where food left in a tree was taken, rocks were tossed near family members, vocalizations and a strong odor were noted, and a large hairy figure was partly seen beside a tree.
