Sasquatch sighting near Ashford, Washington (2022)
The youth stayed in the family SUV while his father walked down a game trail to make calls. After hiding in the back to play a prank, he looked up and saw a tall black figure pulling on a large log and pounding it with its fist. He shouted the family code word, searched for his phone to record, and when he looked again the figure was gone but branches were moving despite little wind.
Sasquatch sighting in Utah (2022)
Around 1 to 2 a.m. the camera recorded an upright figure holding a pine tree with its left hand, opening a very large mouth with smeared lips and big teeth. It then pushed off the tree upright and sprinted away out of frame. The witness dropped the phone, felt the display was a threat to be eaten, and remained frozen fearing it knew the sleeping location.
Eyeshine in Utah (2022)
The motion camera alerted to a pair of eyeshines behind a tree across the driveway that swayed back and forth and had not been present earlier. The witness texted the landlord while watching. When the landlord came outside the eyes disappeared immediately.
Deer hunters report loud whoops at night 8 miles northwest of Nocona
The witness and a relative were camped in a tent on a deer lease near a creek and river in Texas. Late at night they heard distant whooping calls that approached along the water to close range and continued for over an hour, ending with a deep powerful growl while the surrounding woods went silent. The witness reported falling asleep out of fear during the sounds, and no visual encounter was described.
Daylight sighting by hunter 30 miles southeast of Louisville
The witness was sitting in a deer stand above a creek in heavily wooded bottomland waiting for deer. After smelling a musky odor and hearing leaves rustling behind the stand, the witness turned and saw a large dark-brown hairy biped across the creek about 60 yards away walking parallel to the water. The creature briefly turned its head toward the witness, continued swiftly with its arms swinging, and stayed in view for 10 to 15 seconds before moving away through trees.
Object throwing in Georgia (2021)
The witness stayed with family in a mountain cabin and first heard handful-like objects hitting a window with no trees nearby. Two nights later she heard wood-on-tree knocks and a very deep growl near the road, then later that night heard a large rock strike the house, heavy thumps in dirt, and tree-knocking from the porch couch where she stayed awake until daylight. She believes two young Sasquatch were attracted by earlier rock-throwing play with her grandson.

The couple returned to the same road to measure the 2003 crossing and hike all day. They smelled strong urine and rotten-meat odors, found odd stacked limbs and other tree breaks, and watched a large limb fly over a cliff into the creek. Through binoculars the witness saw a black-furred being from waist up behind a tree staring back until it blinked, hid, reappeared, and later vanished by bending down. The husband saw an arm, they heard knocks, a whoop and running, and later found a large bare footprint in a creek bank and an impression behind a tree.
Recent encounter behind Warehouse 24 Gym on the outskirts of Ashland
Around midnight the witness was walking out of a gym toward her vehicle near a treeline when she heard a twig snap. She looked up to see a tall gray-furred figure about 30 yards away under parking lot lighting turning to run back into the woods with swinging arms. The figure quickly disappeared behind the building, and the witness left the area and called relatives for a ride while shaken.
Possible daylight sighting by motorcyclist 35 miles NE of Naples
The witness was riding a motorcycle north in the morning when a brown figure crossed the road from east to west. The figure moved quickly in a smooth bipedal walk, covering the road in three or four long strides, unlike a bounding deer. After riding through the crossing location, the witness smelled a light skunky body odor lingering for several yards.
Odor near Lake Quinault, Washington (2021)
During their first year in Lake Quinault, the guest and his wife repeatedly noticed a musky smell drifting through open windows around late evening and heard single loud bangs on the vacant house next door in the early morning. Floodlights would trigger but nothing was seen.
Vocalization near Topanga, California (2021)
The guest and his bandmate approached a cave and heard a gentle male voice speaking an unintelligible strange language for about thirty seconds. After announcing themselves the voice stopped, then something jumped about twenty feet into brush and moved bipedally up the ridge toward them making bad mountain-lion-like sounds. They counted to three and fled to their van.
Sasquatch sighting in Mississippi (2020)
The witness was deer hunting alone from an elevated stand off a power line in a state wildlife management area on a December afternoon. After hearing heavy breathing and movement, the witness observed a large black hairy human-like figure first on all fours then sitting and standing. The figure vocalized in gibberish-like speech, screamed, grunted, approached to about 30 yards and remained for an extended period before tearing vegetation and moving off. While the witness fled toward a truck, movement paralleled the witness in the woods while vocalizations continued behind, suggesting a second individual, and the witness fired a shot in the air before driving away.
Cabin renters have sighting outside Logan in Wayne National Forest
Ten people renting a cabin heard branch-breaking noises, bangs, sounds like throwing, and strange howls after midnight, along with a foul outdoor odor. Four of the group then saw a large black bipedal figure in a field in front of the cabin that turned and went back into the woods. The group then heard more walking, howls and breaking branches around the cabin and later found a footprint.
Motorist's daylight sighting in farmlands 45 miles northeast of Springfield
The witness was driving toward town in the morning when she noticed a large upright figure standing by the roadside. She slowed, maintained eye contact for several seconds as she passed within a short distance, and noticed a musty odor. After she passed, she saw in the mirror that the figure crossed the two-lane highway in two steps and disappeared into the woods.
Vocals and track on Spencer Butte
The witness and companions were elk hunting and hiking up Spencer Butte on a rainy morning when two of them heard a distant yowl. At the top the witness found an alder shaking without wind and heard something moving away. Shortly after the witness found a large left-foot print with distinct toes in mud and gravel and photographed it.
Howls heard near Spokane River
The witness was at home overnight with bedroom windows open after letting her dog out when she heard a loud siren-like howl, followed a few minutes later by a fainter similar sound from farther away. She judged the sounds unlike coyote, wolf, or domestic dog and described them as a single drawn-out whooooooo that rose and then stopped. She also reported a strong trashy skunk-like odor. No visual contact was described.
Whoops around 4am by resident bordering Mill Stream Run Reservation
In mid-September 2020 around 5 a.m., the witness was sitting on a tarped patio when rustling was heard behind a shed about 50 feet away. Three chimpanzee-like whoops several seconds apart were then heard, followed by more rustling. The witness went back inside and reports being afraid to go outside in the dark since.
Possible sighting at Mono Lake at Sunrise
The witness and a relative arrived at a high desert lake before sunrise to photograph the sunrise. The witness saw a black bipedal figure walking parallel about 15 yards away before it disappeared behind rock formations. The relative also noticed movement in that general area. The witness later concluded the figure was not the other photographer present, but did not search for traces.
Wood knock near Salem, Indiana (2020)
The witness and a companion were hiking a loop trail when they heard a very loud, sharp knock from a steep hilltop above them. They stopped to scan the ridgeline but saw nothing due to dense vegetation. The witness then heard a brief sound of movement in the brush uphill before they continued back to the trailhead.
Vocalization in Texas (2020)
Over about four years the household noticed odd sounds, smells and disturbances around their wooded Texas property. They heard voice-like calls, hoots, growls and repeated wood knocks, found scat, stripped and snapped trees, and missing bait. A wide bare footprint with a deep heel was later found in a raised garden bed after crops were taken, though neither person ever saw an animal.
