The witness returned to the same trail area with a cousin and left apples after knocking and calling. They heard a very deep growl from a low bush and chatter-like sounds behind them, then cracking sounds circling their camp until rain. Later the witness saw two pairs of bright amber eyes peering from behind trees, spoke to them, and the eyes vanished; the apples were gone on the way out.

The witness and three friends camped in the park in summer 2019 and hiked the towpath trail near the river after dusk. They had sticks then small rocks thrown behind them, smelled a pungent odor, felt watched, and fled. On successive nights they heard tree knocks from multiple directions, whistles, whoops, loud yells and screams that approached the camp, growling near the camper, and banging on vehicles in a nearby junkyard. By day they found numerous large human-like footprints in a shallow spillway and on a sandy bank, which they photographed with boots for scale. They reported no visual sighting but concluded the sounds and tracks were from a large, athletic creature.

The witness was driving away from a private lake late at night when a small hairy biped ran across the road into the front of the car. The impact caused major front-end damage and left fur and blood, and the witness heard a thud as the animal hit the pavement. While slowing, the witness heard a loud roar from the treeline and later heard crashing and growling alongside the road while driving around the lake, feeling chased.

The witness and a companion drove to a picnic area in a forested area at dusk to relax after bowling. While outside the car the witness heard loud heavy strides coming up the hillside, followed by a low growl-like sound, prompting both to get in the car to leave. As they drove away something thumped against the car. Later under bright lights they found large handprints in the dust on the roof, side panel and door.

He heard a thump, slowed, then heard a loud roar from the woods and fled. While circling back behind the lake he heard growling and movement following through the woods and sped away.

About a month after a nearby sighting made the papers, the witness played internet sounds with friends as a joke. After about 45 minutes they heard knocks, whoops, growls and had pebbles and rocks thrown at them. On the hill they saw eyeshine that ducked into grass, heard something following them, and later rocks hit the deck and porch.

Shortly after high school the witness and his cousin camped beside a river after hauling kayaks and a towed canoe uphill. In the night the witness heard steps and a loud growl beside the tent and saw a large dark shadow in moonlight. Next day belongings were scattered, food was gone, and the heavy canoe was up in a tree.
