A family was camped in a trailer near a treeline with a deer carcass stored nearby. During the night the family was awakened by rocks hitting the trailer, knocking sounds, growls, screams and whoops. The witness later went outside with a flashlight and saw a single glowing red eye high in the treeline. In the morning stacked rocks were gone, footprints were found, and a large pine by the carcass had been pushed over.

Three people hiking in daylight near a pond had a large rock thrown toward them, with the rock striking a tree. They searched the apparent origin area and found a fresh large bass displayed on a boulder, aligned toward the path, with no other people around. After a shot was fired into the ground, heavy running was heard moving toward the second position where glowing eyes were seen, and the group left around 2 a.m.

The witness was stealth camping alone in woods near town. Late at night a powerful foul odor filled the tent, followed by bipedal footsteps circling the tent, breathing and sniffing at the tarp. After the witness shouted, the visitor growled, walked away on two feet, and wood-on-wood knocks were heard as the odor faded. The witness left the area the next morning.

The witness and a companion were camping overnight in hammocks when a prolonged series of nighttime disturbances began. The witness heard crashing movement, branches breaking, rocks banged together, and a large object thrown through the woods landing nearby. Birds, an owl, and distant dogs vocalized during the sequence, which ended with a long wail, after which the woods went quiet. The pair left the area the next morning.

After going to bed, the witness felt something heavy step on the tent edge and push on her head through the fabric, then heard soft bipedal steps around camp until dawn when another knock was heard.

They retreated inside as stones continued to strike the cabin on multiple sides. The father then saw a large dark figure run bipedally across the driveway, and impacts on the cabin walls continued late into the night.

A man driving to fish with his son stopped on a road near a lake after seeing what he thought was a bear. The animal stood upright, revealing a very tall, broad, dark-brown hairy human-like form, and the driver got out and shouted at it. The creature vocalized loudly, threw part of a snake toward them, then ran rapidly into the woods.

She awoke again later to distant clacking, and in the morning found no sign except deer tracks with the tent still staked.

The witness and a friend were collecting molted eagle feathers near a swamp around sunset. They heard two very loud splashes close by that sounded like large rocks being thrown into the water. They pushed through overgrown vegetation to investigate and found a fresh path flattened through tall weeds but saw nothing. As they were leaving they heard distant chattering like talking, although they believed no one else was in the woods.
