The witness was sleeping in a tent at a lake campground with family when she awoke to repeated patterned clacking sounds from the south. Later she felt contact through the tent fabric, felt the foot of the tent lift and settle, heard movement and more clacking from two directions, and felt unable to move or speak. She awoke again later to distant clacking, and in the morning found no sign except deer tracks with the tent still staked.

An investigator spoke with the witness by phone and summarized details about the head touch with inability to move and the tent being lifted then lowered.
An investigator later visited the campground area to view the site and terrain but did not stop to examine the specific site because it was occupied.
