Ten people renting a cabin heard branch-breaking noises, bangs, sounds like throwing, and strange howls after midnight, along with a foul outdoor odor. Four of the group then saw a large black bipedal figure in a field in front of the cabin that turned and went back into the woods. The group then heard more walking, howls and breaking branches around the cabin and later found a footprint.

While digging out the tires, the witness was struck by a thrown rock, then heard movement, footsteps and loud hissing vocalizations from the surrounding brush. A large wet adult creature and a smaller juvenile were then seen at close range crossing the road, throwing material at the car, before disappearing into the forest.

A rock was then thrown from bushes, and the witness saw a hand and a muscular, dark brown, approximately 6-foot figure facing away with a V-shaped tuft of hair on top. The witness shouted at the figure, which remained still facing away, then left the area the way they came.

After the witness got out of his car a rock struck the car and a much larger dark individual appeared behind the car, vocalized loudly, then crossed the road into the woods. The witness drove a short distance ahead, stopped, heard movement in the woods and had more small rocks thrown toward him before leaving.

She stared for a couple minutes as it leaned to look around the tree, then ran inside. The couple checked the area with headlights, saw nothing, waited in the dark, and heard whistling and rustling before leaving. In daylight the next day they found nothing that explained the figure.

After retreating uphill and pausing by the car, they heard a branch snap and rustling, and an unseen presence loudly mimicked the witness's whistle by vocalizing.

He fled down a trail while hearing running steps alongside him, then encountered a very tall standing figure that screamed. He ran to a companion's home and returned hours later to find the tent torn down and the thrown wood on the ground.

After the group built a fire and returned to tents, prolonged loud screams were heard from across the lake for about 30 minutes despite shooting, yelling and banging pots.

The witness was riding a horse on a wooded dirt road at dusk when the horse became agitated. After hearing rustling and a loud scream, the witness saw eyes and then a large upright creature that lunged out and seized the saddle. Face to face with the creature, the witness clung to the horse's neck as it bolted without looking back. The saddle was later described as torn with deep gouges.
