Footsteps near Sevierville, Tennessee (2022)

1 November 2022 night, about 10pm to 4am Sevierville, Tennessee 4 witnesses

Account

The guest rented a cabin near Sevierville for his fiancee's birthday. During the night the group heard heavy footsteps under the elevated back deck, distant yelling, movement in tall grass, and a loud branch break followed by silence, plus tapping on the cabin walls and above the bed. The guest's brother-in-law reported seeing a large gray furry figure rising from all fours in the weeds below the deck, estimated at 8-9 feet tall. The group also made an audio recording and later found a possible figure in a short phone video taken that evening.
