The witness stayed with family in a remote mountain cabin. After his father-in-law saw something staring from the woods, the witness was woken at 2 a.m. by a loud roar and shaking of the house. A heavy horse-saddle swing was ripped from bolted chains and thrown about eighty yards into the woods.
