The guest was working alone at an old sawmill site where he had felt watched and heard odd whistles. After finding tracks in mud from rain, he saw a large black figure peeking from behind a tree on the ridge, took a photo, and noted a foul smell and growl. The next two evenings he recorded howl-like sounds and heard a possible knock in response.
