The writer said he first saw dozens of tall white humanoids with black eye sockets around midnight on Thanksgiving 2020 while visiting a veteran friend living in a camper at the edge of woods. The beings grouped in darker areas of a field and all looked at him at once, causing intense fear. He said he has seen them about a dozen more times at night in wooded areas, that they move with jerky motions and seem to phase in and out, and that shooting one left no trace.
