Whistle near Shelby County (1992)
Account
On leave in 1992 the guest and his best friend hiked to a sandbar area by the Mississippi River. They heard a whistle, bipedal footsteps, and saw something peeking around trees. A thrown stick narrowly missed the guest's head. Both men then suffered sudden nausea, headache and loss of bearings, heard crashing like a freight train flanking them, and sprinted to the main road and car while being chased through the trees, then drove away fast.
