The witness and a companion drove slowly in an old truck toward the toe of the Root Glacier. The witness saw a dark head moving smoothly across the trail and thought it was a Bigfoot. After driving over a slight rise the figure was gone, so the companion circled in the brush while the witness entered and saw a 6-foot-5 muscular brown-furred figure about 40 feet away in sunlight. The figure glanced without fully facing him, then ran away extremely fast over about 75 yards and over downed trees, while the companion reported seeing a long human-shaped arm swinging.
